Scaramouche looked down in his hands, seeing his scythe almost cutting Kazuha's face off.

Kazuha was shocked, sitting down trying to back away from his partner.
Scaramouche, wide-eyed started gaining back some consciousness.
"I- what am I doing" He walked backwards, dropping his weapon.
Normally, he wouldn't give a single flying fuck about killing someone. But- this time, he felt a sharp pain in his heart and stomach, making him want to vomit almost.
It happened all the time when Kazuha was getting hurt and he couldn't help.
Of course, he hid those feelings all the time. But this time it slipt out..
God, Kazuha.
Are you a disease or something?
Always making me sick when I'm near you.
Always making me want to fall unconscious with your warm, comforting aura and your lilac scent.
And Since when did I become someone to get comfortable way too fast?
"Kazuha..." Scaramouche looked at the boy, with a sad expression.
"Well... You were about to strike, then you stopped mid-air. When I looked back, the Kitsune itself was gone aswell."
"When you turned around to me, you just started beating me. Of course I tried to dodge and all but were different ranks as you are 10x stronger than me, then you almost killed me."
"Really..?" The ravenette kicked his weapon all the way to other side of the cavern, then it disappeared.
He then quickly got down, helping Kazuha get up.
"Hey Kazuha- erm.. I didn't mean to, really.."
"... It's fine. But why did you do That?"
"...I don't know, I didn't even know I was trying to kill you at that moment."
"So you didn't know?" The Samurai looked relieved as he was thankful that's Scaramouche didn't just start hating him out of nowhere.
"Hm." Yet, the harbinger still looked sad as his action passed.
"Okay, it's fine then!.." Kazuha smiled.
[ ... ]
"Hey, Scara, since we're done with the job we were assigned to, is it the end of our adventure?"
