Trigger Warning: Murder and mild description of blood.

I was back at my feet five days later. I did move with caution because I could still feel a dull pain in my back but I was thankful to Jin for taking care of me. However, no matter what happened to me, anyone would be used to the entire thing by now, but not me.

I was still craving to escape from this hell hole my sister put me in and the note I received from the mute girl a few days ago only made me want to escape more. I stopped thinking about any consequences that would follow after that, because I refused to accept that something would go wrong with this entire thing.

However, there was no trace of the girl at all. I didn't see her anywhere and it was bothering me a bit. What if she got caught? What if she was killed? I was so damn anxious about that. Too distracted to even talk with the people in the house properly.

I met the cook, he was a nice guy, a bit quiet but once you got to know him he was a gentle soul. I could sense the look of pity written across his features every time he spoke to me because obviously everyone knew my story. His name was Chase, he was brought from the states. He was also kidnapped on a cruise ship and forced to live here. His family had no idea where he was and he'd still see news floating around about possible versions of his death.

That bastard Vante was a cruel man. How could he so cruelly kidnap a man and force him to work here? My mind couldn't understand the thought.

I was usually surrounded by so many people, my family, friends and even the girl of my dreams. They were all amazing people, I've never met people so cruel that even when murdering someone they'd not bat an eyelash at all. I was never interested in yakuza or mafia in general. I was a guy who hated confrontations or problems so I didn't really had any to begin with.

Since I was the 'feisty rabbit' as everyone called me in this place, I was escorted by a few men even to the damn kitchen. I didn't bother knowing their names. They'd scoff and mock me behind my back, if I took the wrong steps they would push me over and always glare at me. I hated this place more than anything in my life.

"You okay?" I heard someone ask and that voice alone made me get out of my thoughts. I cleared my throat, shifting in my seat. A warm cup of coffee was served in front of me as I simply glanced at the cook who was preparing something, I could see his back. I guessed he could sense that my silence was the cause of anxiety. It was the truth.

I glanced back at the two bulky men in front of the kitchen doors chatting in another language, yet I paid no attention.

"Yeah..." I trailed off quietly.

"You don't look okay."

"I mean...The situation I am in is still so damn grotesque for me, I am just trying to get used to it. " That was a big fat lie. I was hoping to see the girl again so she could give me details about her plan. I haven't seen her since that day she had snuck into the room and gave me that damn note. It kept me on alert at all times.

"You will eventually. " Chase trailed off, washing his hands and wiping them with a towel hanging on his shoulders. He slowly turned around and our eyes met. I shrugged nontechnically.

"I don't know if I will."

He shook his head and finally sat by the free chair by my side. There were a few younger maids who waked into the room to search something in the fridge. I didn't feel comfortable with them, they didn't spoke the same language as I did. The only people I knew spoke in the same language were Vante, the rest of his men, August, Jin, the mute girl and now Chase.

"Everyone does. I just hope you understand that Vante is not a fool and he will figure out everything you want to do."

I quirked an eyebrow at the man as I sipped on my coffee. What did he mean by that? Did he-

"You know." I muttered quietly in pure shock. Chase hummed, glancing at the men in front of the door and then back at me.

"You should also know that even tho some people don't speak the same language as we do it doesn't mean that they do not understand it. They are forbidden from speaking it unless required."

"What the heck?" I grunted, leaning a little on the table, arms crossed. I groaned as a dull pain filled my senses and straightened back up.

"This world we got involved in...it might look normal but it is not."

"I never thought that this world would be normal in the first place. " I scoffed a little, rolling my eyes. Chase chuckled and shrugged his shoulders.

"You are just a kid still, I am sure you do realize what is happening after everything you experienced and after everything you've seen so far, but do not try to fool Vante. He can't be fooled. "

I frowned and glanced at my glass with coffee.

"We'll see about that. " I murmured in a quiet tone. I was growing cocky. I knew that I could fuck him over and escape this place, reveal to the police everything I've been seeing and hearing so far.

"Don't get yourself killed, Jungkook. Your closest ones will suffer. "

I swallowed thickly at that thought and refused to talk about this entire thing.

"How did you figure it out tho?" I asked suddenly.

Chase leaned against his chair, his expression was serious. He took another glance at the guards in front of the door.

"That girl is a very close friend of mine, she is here longer than anyone else ever was."

"Where is she tho?" I grew curious.

Chase shrugged his shoulders.

"She tends to disappear for a bit and appear again after a few days. But as I advised her, I am advising you too. If you don't want to be buried six feet under, do not proceed further. And I will not be able to help either of you if you get caught."

I shook my head and bit my lower lip. We weren't going to get caught. I refused to think otherwise. We were going to succeed.

The doors slammed open and the sound made me jump. One of the men escorting me glared at Chase then at me.

"Time is up." he grunted and I scowled. I knew that if I am beat up, barely moving, I wouldn't be able to escape so I had to obey.

"Right. I'll talk to you later, then?" I stood up from my chair, sparing a glance at Chase. He gave me a polite smile and nodded his head.

I headed toward the door and was roughly pushed outside. I knew where to go from then on. They put me in a small room in the first floor, near the dungeons. It wasn't as bad as the cell I spent a few days in the first time I got in so I wasn't really complaining. Too bad the windows couldn't be broken. I have tried, it was not successful. The only thing that kept me alive was that I was going to escape eventually.

My steps were the only thing that echoed down the narrow hallway. Even those bastards behind me were as quiet as ninjas. Goddamit.

I soon walked in the room and the door was slammed behind me. I heard the click and I knew I was locked. Fucking great. How was she supposed to reach out to me when I was locked? I didn't want to think this right now.

It was good that there was a small book shelf located at the far corner, I could read some books. Even though they were boring, it did help me to pass the time.

A few hours after Jin walked into the room, holding a large black folder in his arms, wearing his usual attire. His hair was slicked back, he wore those large round glasses covering almost half of his face. He had a serious look.

"What's up?" I spoke softly.

He hummed, "I am here to check up on you. And see how the wounds are healing. Take off your shirt. "

I had gotten used to at least that. I did as he told me, laying on the bed as he stood by my side, removing the bandages.

"Does it hurt still?"

"Not as much as before, there is still pain but it's dull."

I heard his pen clicking and he scribbled something in the folder.

"You have to keep your mouth shut and be quiet when Vante talks. Don't try to disrespect him because the punishment is twice as bad as what you went through down in the dungeons. Just obey to him."

I will never obey to a man like him. A monster. He repulsed me to no end.

"Right." I murmured as he pressed on my wound and I groaned out in pain.

"Sorry, had to check. I am gonna put new bandages and prescribe you more pills to take. You should be fine after a few more days. " he trailed off.

After that I remained silent, letting him focus and 'patch' me up. I finally sat up, stretching a little and rolling my head from side to side. My muscles had been a bit tense lately.

I glanced at him. He looked serious. His eyebrows furrowed as he kept writing something in his folder. I waited for a couple more minutes, putting back my shirt.

"Where is he?" I asked lowly.

Jin glanced at me for a second.

"None of  your concern. You gotta do what I told you to do, and you won't die. This will be your reward for being here. Your life."

He was acting oddly strange today. Usually Jin was very relaxed and we could keep up even with the small talk.

"Is something wrong?" I asked a few minutes later. He refused to look at me this time.

"Get some rest. I'll check up on you tomorrow." he murmured before he stormed out from the room, the door was shut and I heard the painful 'click' yet again. I ran fingers through my hair in pure frustration.

I was woken in the middle of the night. The door slammed open and a strong source of light was shoved in my face. I opened my eyes and I couldn't see who it was.

"What is going on?" I murmured groggily. The person behind the light said nothing. I shuddered and I thought that everyone discovered my plan. Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck.

I kept cursing myself, however, soon the light was removed and I saw her small slim frame standing not too far away from me.

She scribbled something quickly, glancing at the door in pure anxiety then handed the piece of paper back to me.

"The guards are having a break. I am here to take you out. I discovered a path. Let's go!" I could see the worried face of hers as I immediately jumped out of bed and nodded my head, letting her know I was on board. The sleep had left my face completely now. I didn't care that I wore shorts and a t-shirt, all I cared for was to step out of the main gates. Then I was a free man.

She turned around and I followed behind. My heart was beating fast in my chest. So so fast I could barely breathe at some point. I could watch her small feet walk faster and faster. She'd stop and look around cautiously, giving me a sign to continue moving. The house was oddly quiet.

She reached a place where stopped right in front of a huge ass wall. For a moment I was confused, but after she knocked a few times, it opened.

Holy shit- I could almost gasp. A secret passage?

I didnt want to ask her more questions, I had no idea if she was going to escape with me even. We walked inside, it was dark, narrow hallway lead to a large staircase. I shuddered but I kept moving.

She held her light a little, illuminating the road ahead of us. After ten minutes of taking left and right turns, she finally opened a small door and took a step to the side, gazing at me.

I frowned and stopped. She must have seen the confusion on my face and motioned me to go through. I didn't think she'd follow but she did.

Once outside, I was met with a large meadow. No trees. It was literally in the middle of nowhere.

And then the adrenaline kicked in. I turned around and grasped her small hand. We began running.

She turned off her light and she ran after me, trying to keep up with my pace. I had no desire to leave her behind, not at all. I could feel the grass beneath my feet, the cool air piercing my skin. But none of it had any negative influence on me. It all tasted like freedom.

I turned around to look at the girl after me, she was panting obviously, her face had grown red, sweat covering her small round face. I wanted to make sure she was alright as we kept running.

Then I heard bark of dogs in the distance.

My eyes grew wide. My heart stopped.

"Fuck!"I cursed out loud. Then I heard men shouting and my feet started to give out. Suddenly I heard a loud thump and I span around, seeing her on the ground. She had tripped.

"Get up!Come on!" I panted out but she pushed me away, shaking her head. Was she urging me to run without her? Fuck no! I squatted down, trying to help her up as I completely forgot about the situation. By the time she was back on her feet, at least twenty pairs of eyes stared at us.

We've been surrounded. No matter where I turned, tall bulky men in black suits glared at us. They held a very furious dogs on leashes who needed a little push and then we'd be shredded to pieces. I began shaking, immediately standing in front of her small frame, trying to cover her from those prying eyes.

Guns were pointed at us, we had nowhere to run. I took a quick glimpse and I wanted to shout so badly. We haven't even reached that far, I could still see the damn house in the distance.

I was panting, trying to keep my cool, my eyes would shift to one face then another.

From one of the men I heard a laughter and that's when Vante appeared behind the rest of the men, August by his side. Both of them were amused. Those bastards.

"The rabbit tried to run away." August muttered in a low voice, his eyes had no emotion left at all. He was staring at us but at the same time he was seeing through us.

I never begged. I never would beg.

Men stepped forward and pried me away from the girl. I felt their tight grips around my elbows as they did the same to her.

"Whatever you do, don't punish her, it's me. All my fault! I wanted to run away! She has nothing to do with it. "

Vante quirked an eyebrow. He wore a dark suit with a black V-shirt, a jacket was thrown over his shoulders. I could see his slim fingers covered in silver rings as well.

"What a gentleman, trying to protect the lady, let's give him applause, shall we?" Vante looked around and men began clapping. I felt sick to my stomach.

Then the applaud stopped. I took a sharp breath, my nostrils flaring.

August was glaring at the girl then back at me. From his amused expression was no trace, he was just like a furious dog on a leash. By Vante's orders if he latched on us it'd be a game over.

"Do you really think I wouldn't know about your little plan of escaping?" Vante asked in a smooth calm voice, now arms crossed against his chest. He looked so calm it was sickening. I couldn't mutter a word, too shocked and scared to even move.

He glanced at one of the men holding me by the elbow and that bastard landed his knee in my stomach. The breath was taken away from me in seconds as I found myself kneeling on the ground, gasping for air. My eyes watered and I gritted my teeth despite of that. I glared up at Vante with all of my might.

"Look at you being all feisty. I thought the whips taught you a lesson but I guess I was wrong. Maybe this would-" he pulled out something from his inner pocket and in seconds a loud sound of a gun going off echoed.

I flinched, biting my tongue to the point it drew blood. Panting heavily still I closed my eyes, thinking that this was my end but it wasn't. I was still kneeling, still breathing. I heard a loud thud and my eyes snapped open.

With horror I saw the girl laying on the ground, puddle of blood under her. The men that held her stepped away as her dead body was sprawled on the ground, eyes wide open in horror, a bullet had went right between her eyes.

Loud scream of agony echoed as I tried to reach her but I was harshly pulled up back on my feet. Tears streaming down my face as I watched her helpless body and the grass under her coated in red liquid.

I vomited after that, disgusted by the picture. I felt my heart crack in million pieces.

Loud laughter echoed, men were amused. Those sick motherfuckers.

I heard footsteps and I felt fingers dig into my skin, he had wrapped his fingers around my throat, forcing me to look right into his eyes. I saw tattoos peeking from under the collar of his shirt.

"I will break you, " he breathed in, leaning close. "And make you my good lap dog. I see potential in you. And this is what will happen every time you try to fuck me over. People around you will die, even the closest ones, you hear me? If you try to escape again, I'll keep a special bullet in my gun for your precious Eung Hee. " he cooed and I felt like spitting in his face but however, I didn't. I didn't want to make things worse.

I was crying. Everyone saw my tears.

August chuckled, letting out soft "tsk's".

"Drag him back into the mansion. I am gonna make sure he never tries to escape me ever again."

"Bastards!" I shot out as soon as the men who held my elbows began dragging me back into the house. The tears never stopped rolling down my cheek as I shouted with all of the air I had in my lungs.

"I will kill you~ all of you!" I heard their laughter as I saw Vante's eyes darkened. He grinned at me in such a disgusting way I felt like throwing up again.

I didn't know what was waiting for me now. Will I be whipped again? Possibly.

There was emptiness that grew slowly within my chest that I hadn't realized it was there until I saw the girl's body being dragged away.

My hopes of leaving this place slowly began fading away.
