Delilah is a 28 year old anti- social  writer who currently lives in New York City who after writing a book that flew to number 5 on the New York Times bestseller list took a break from writing  for about 6 months
And has begun writing her second novel
her inspirations are Stephen King and that's the style of writing she enjoys

Run run as fast as you can never let them get you the the stained clothes in my backpack I have to dispose of them the smell of bleach somehow still lingering in the air even though we're in a completely different place both physically and mentally two buses one taxi and some hair dye and now here we are the place where I was always meant to be where we were always meant to be the nearly freezing mid-september air hitting my face shivering slightly not used to weather like this i picked up the warmest clothes I possibly could have at the local thrift store gripping her hand in mine as we walked across the street into a better life and a new chance start over in a different city but it seems like a completely different planet

Three cups of coffee and half of a nervous breakdown later I finally finished the novel I've been working on for the last few months I've been in sort of a slump I've had the story and the plot but I haven't had the ambition to just sit down and write for a while and I must say I've missed it setting the finally finished manuscript in the drawer of my desk searching for my phone finding it under a pile of crumpled papers pressing the Home button the numbers read 4:30 a.m. throwing the mountain of compled papers into the trash can turning off the light and walking up to my bed room lazily heading to the bathroom that was attached to my bedroom after doing my nightly routine removing the bobby pins from my bun which was now causing me to have a huge headache brushing it out putting it into pigtail boxer braids stripping down to my sports bra and boyshorts I fell into the plush softness that is my bed immediately fell into a deep sleep

why must the simple task of waking up in the morning be so hard after my average morning routine I lazily walk down the stairs groaning when I reach the bottom the bowl of honey nut cheerios and mug of hot coffee already waiting for me when I got down they were a calling my name thanks I said to my housekeeper Abby no problem she said I'm going to go pick up some things from the grocery store okay I said quietly still not prepared for human interaction yet this is my first cup of coffee after my third cup of coffee and more unnecessary yet very necessary groaning I went upstairs for a shower and to get ready to take on the day after doing my shower routine getting dressed and applying makeup I took out my braids leaving my hair in loose natural beachy waves and putting it in a half up half down and pinning a black bow into it I grabbed my wallet and keys and I was out the door a hoping into my vintage white VW bug going to heading down to Dr Jessica Marshall I walked into her horribly decorated office way too many colors the sight of them gave me a headache every time I walked in here and the horrid overpowering smell of bleach I sat down hunching over with my forearms on my knees and my head down closing my eyes and taking slow deep breaths Delilah? she said my breath quickening my heart pounding she sat next to causing me to tighten up she laid her hand on my back causing me to flinch come with me Delilah she took my hand slowly leading me to the office seeing as my eyes were still closed i sat on the couch slowly sitting in the same position as I was before the overpowering smell of bleach now causing my lungs to burn my nails digging into my palms I could feel them breaking skin the pain some how calmed me down how are you Delilah? She asked in a clam soothing voice after a few seconds I quietly replied with a simple I'm fine we continued to talk for about another hour before she told me my session was over I quickly got up and jogged out of the office climbing into my car my shaking hands struggling to stick the key into the ignition switch taking a few more deep breaths the fourth try I finally got it driving home as fast as the law would allow me to as soon as I got home I ran the shower the water set to the hottest setting stripping from the clothes that smelled so strongly of bleach it was almost like they were saturated in it I quickly got into the shower scrubbing my scalp with shampoo grabbing the loofah and body wash scrubbing my skin as hard as I could I can still smell the bleach the horrid smell after washing my hair and body twice I applied conditioner to my hair and just let the hot water run over my body my hands started shaking my lips trembling my legs gave out I began to violently sob I I heard a car pulling up the driveway so I quickly got up and finished whatever else I had to do in the shower wrapping the plush fluffy white towel around my body after blow drying my hair and doing my skin routine and putting on some comfy clothes
I decided on doing a sort of live show type thing because I thought it would be a good idea for the people who've read my past novels to hear a little bit about my new one and just to answer some questions as well as get my mind off some things for a while abby walked into my office as I was trying to set up the live show handing me the small red tablets and the bottle of water saying how sorry she was for not giving them to me the moment I got up seeing as I always forget to take them I told her she didn't have to apologize and quickly took the pills and went back to setting up the live show after about 30 or 35 minutes of talking about my new book trying not to give away any spoilers answering some questions and playing a few songs I'm loving at the moment I said goodbye to the viewers shut down my laptop and ran downstairs for some food which is one of the few things I'll enjoy running for abby was already cooking up some dinner and a little while later we were sitting up in her room on her bed each with a bowl of chicken stir fry watching supernatural on Netflix and I must say this is a good ending to a mediocre day
