I was humming Walking in a Winter Wonderland while crafting the batter for sugar cookies when I hear my hotel room door open. "Alex!" I hear Magnus shout from the other room. "What is it?!" I yell back, dusting flour from my hands. "I have a surprise! Come here!" He says and I head to the door. He bounces up to me and holds up a shiny blue piece of paper with spirally white writing right in my face. "I can't read it! Get it out of my face." I tell him. Magnus hands it to me and I read it: Winter Wonderland Walk: Saturday night 6:00-9:00 p.m "Do you wanna go?" Magnus asks excitedly. I pat him on the head and say; "I'll think about it. Wanna help me make cookies?" "Yeah!" He says and bounces into the kitchen. Fifteen minutes later the kitchen is covered with flour and bits of batter. Magnus had accidentally knocked over the bowl of batter all over me, so I scooped some up and threw it at him. Then it turned into a full on food fight. My cookies are now ruined. I sigh. "We better start cleaning this up Maggie." I say and gesture around.
He starts working on the dishes while I work on scrubbing the cabinets. After 40 minutes of work I sit down on the couch and sink into the cushions. "Where is this Winter Wonderland Walk?" I ask Magnus as he sits next to me. "In Boston. Near a lake I think." he says. "Cool." I respond dryly. He snuggles up next to me and drapes a blanket over us. I rest my head on his and I slowly fall asleep.
When I wake up, Magnus is gone. Then I smelled sugar cookies. I blinked the sleep out of my eyes and looked into the kitchen. Magnus is pulling a cookie sheet out of the oven and setting it on a cooling rack. I walk over to the counter and see he made snowflake shaped cookies. He notices me peeking over his shoulder and says; "You're awake! I felt bad that I had ruined your cookies, so I made new ones." He gestures to them proudly and I can't help but smile. He's adorable. "Thanks Maggie." I say and kiss him on his blond head of hair. He grins. I grab some frosting and start swirling it on one of the cookies. He joins me until we have beautifully decorated cookies. I smile and grab one off the rack and shove it in my mouth. Magnus checks the time and says; "It's 5:32. We better get ready to go to the walk, Alex." and he leaves to get ready. I put on a pink green and shimmery silver sweater and jeans. Alex's Sweater:

I smile and put on some very mild pink lip gloss. I walk through the hall of Vahalla and knock on Magnus's door. He's wearing a simple green sweater and jeans. Magnus's Sweater:

He checks his watch.
"It's 5:47." He says and we head to Boston. We arrive at a beautiful lake, sparkling with the surrounding lights. There's light snow falling and pools around our feet. We walk around the lake, hand and hand gaping at the beautiful light display. There are glowing candy canes and snowmen. Lights are tossed up in trees and weaved through bushes. We walk under a tunnel of strung up lights with the lake shining out one side. I pull Magnus aside and kiss him. A gentle and loving kiss. He pulls away and smiles. "Thank you for this." I say to him and kiss his jaw. "You're absolutely welcome. It was definitely worth it." he says and kisses me shortly again. I smile and we walk through the snow flurries and shimmering lights. It really is a winter wonderland.
