Long ago, the world was full of wonder! It was adventurous, exciting, and best of all, there was magic. But when I first appeared, everything had flipped the world upside down. And I think with a little bit of magic in your life... you can do almost anything. Now that I know it, this place is my home now. All of the magic had returned to the mystic beings who had become who they were. I had transformed into a magical being with a new appearance. The school had been rebuilt and so did the Tavern. It's like how this place used to be in their glory days.
Ian told the entire story about the presentation of magic.
YELDAEH: Is that how you put the school back together?
IAN: Uh, yes!
THEYUS: Is that also how you destroyed the school in the first place?
IAN: Uh... Also yes?
SADALIA: Hey, that was great.
IAN: Thanks!
GURGE: You going to the park later?
IAN: Yeah! See you there!
As for me, I was part of the Lightfoot Family, the strangest member of the family. As Ian had returned home, the pet dragon, Blasey barreled around the corner and jumped onto him. Smothering him with kisses. Laurel hustled around the corner with a spray bottle.
LAUREL: Blazey! Down!
But Ian snuggled with her.
IAN: Who's a good dragon? Who's a good dragon?
LAUREL: So, how was school?
IAN: It was... really good.
LAUREL: Well, alright.
Just then, Colt came into the room and approached Ian.
COLT: Hey! There he is. You working hard?
IAN: Nope, hardly workin'.
LAUREL: Oh, I gotta go. I'm meeting the Manticore for a night out.
Then Colt got a call on his police radio. He gave Laurel a kiss before quickly leaving.
COLT: Duty calls. Time to hit the trail!
LAUREL: You forgot your keys!
COLT: Don't need 'em! I was born to run.
I watched from the living room window as Colt galloped down the road his mane flowing in the breeze. Barley crept up behind me and put me in a head locl. I giggled as my ears flicked happily.
IAN: So, how's the new van?
BARLEY: Oh, Guinevere the Second is great. I've almost got enough saved up for a sweet paint job.
IAN: No... please don't.
BARLEY: Why not?
IAN: Because I already took care of it.
Ian opened the garage to reveal a magical paint job he'd done on Barley's new van. In the art, a Pegasus carried Barley, as a warrior, with Ian as a wizard riding behind him. My eyes claimed brightly.
EMMA: Whoa it's perfect.
BARLEY: YEAH!
We climbed into the new van, which had a license plate that read GWINVER2. Barley backed it out of the garage and drove a little while before stopping at a fork in the road. The ramp to the expressway was to the left, and an old path was to the right.
BARLEY: Okay, best way to the park is to take a little something called the Road of Ruin.
IAN: Mmm... Too obvious.
BARLEY: Wait, what?
EMMA: On a quest, the clear path is never the right one.
Barley cheered as Ian and I raised our staffs and cast a spell, magically lifting the van into the air. and with a crackle of magic, we flew off toward the horizon.
