"Have you ever felt the feeling of hope or relief that soon sank down into terror or bertayal?"

When the boy had regain his conscious, the feeling of warmth surrounding his body could be felt, although the warmth wasn't gentle or laced with care. He opens his eyes noticing that it seemed to be harder to do so, like as if he had almost forgotten how.
After being aware of his surroundings, he could only see darkness and small cracks that had light coming through. He tries moving his body to see that the item that emitted the unwelcoming heat was from a rough blanket wrapped around him.
His limbs were prevented from moving because of the cloth. When he tried moving his head it came in contact with a wooden wall, he soon realizes that he was in a wooden box or crate.
Luckily for him, he wasn't Claustrophobic.
But when a force made his body bounce up hitting his forehead he began to cry in a pitch voice. It didn't sound like him, instead it sounded like a baby.
For some reason he could stop crying and the pain still hadn't left, he then hears a loud crash before everything around him began to spin, and closed his eyes before dust particles drops down on him.
As he opens his eyes he hears faint shouting and mild roaring from something that wasn't human nor animal. The boy's eyes widened and tried to scream for help, only for more loud crys to be produced.
Loud rushed footsteps came closer to where he was, he was confused to why he couldn't speak clearly or make out words other than gibberish or loud crying.
He feels the gravity shift and as the wooden ceiling on top of him was opened, his saviour was kneeling before him with a panicked expression plastered onto his face that soon washed into relief.
The man was huge, the boy thought as he was able to freely move his arms because of the man moving the cloth. When he tried reaching the rims of the crate he was put in, he realized how small his hands were, they were as small as a baby-
Then it hit him, Am I a baby!?, he thought, bewildered by the new found information. Of course I am, reincarnation means restarting your life, he internally scoffs at himself from his stupidity.
Wait- I still remember everything before I got here? I thought that this life was meant to be a chance to forget everything, He thought as he was caught off guard when that man reached out for him and began to carry him out of the wooden box.
He looks around the area seeing that he was somrwhat inside of a broken down carriage. A large branch was placed into the ground making it stand up with help of the dirt, big claw marks cloud be seen on some scraps of broken wood on the ground and on the carriage.
Everything looks so old school, was what he thought upon seeing everything around him, which was a broken carriage he was in, a man who wore clothes that farmer usually wear along with the smell of soil on him when carrying the boy, who was now a baby.
They were in a wide dirt path that looked like it'd been used for decades with several trees surrounding it, what caught his attention though, is the large claw marks that went straight through the thick wood.
