It was almost midnight and is also almost the time of the season.

As the sky began to be crowded and covered by the white clouds that usually roamed around it, tiny beautiful snow particles began to be created by them and was now slowly and eligantly falling across the sky and then traveled to the ground that will soon be littered with millions upon millions of snowflakes.

This time of the year was usually common in December, which is now December First.

This was the holiday or season that made almost the entire world feel the coldness since it was nearing the end of the year and when that happens, the planet will slowly drift farther away from the beaming sun which makes it's heat not reach the earth that much and will soon come back after the year.

With that happening, the village's schools had closed for the holiday which gave the kids the time to play in the cold winter snow with their friends.

As Gabriel, the name of Dream's unbiological and adoptive father places down several cups of Hot cocao on their wooden table feeling the warmth of it on his fingertips whilst doing so as he then makes his way to the small living room seeing Dream and his wife laying on the couch with the fireplace lit with dry logs.

The soothing crackling sound of the fireplace that gave them warmth could be heard as Gabriel went up the stairs and to their bedroom to get something.

Dream was lying down on his unbiological mother's lap as she pleasantly caresses her son's hair with a gentle gaze to which he was fighting back the urge to fall asleep on his mother's lap before Christmas starts.

My goal might be childish but this is what I have been wanting to do during my days as a child, but I haven't been able to do so., Dream thought as he felt his eyelids grow heavy and his head slowly tilts back on his mother's lap.

He rubs his eyes but then felt a soft warm feeling engulf his body then he realized his father came back with a blanket and wrapped it around him and his mother helping his drowsiness take over.

You know what? Fuck it this is much better.., He thought as he lets out a long yawn before making himself comfortable and began to sleep on his mother's lap which is weirdly better than a pillow.

As he was then slowly being drifted into the dimension of his dreams, he thought, you know what..? What I want for christmas, is for all of this to stay this way., he thought before a small grin forms on his face.

"°•▪~Dream Land..~▪•°"

He opens his eyes only to be in a strange area where everything was in ruins. The trees and plants were wilting, the ground shows the thurst for water or liquid, the sky was dark and grey with many rubble littered among everything.

He notices a small hole on the dull sky began to open making a gentle beam of light hit on the cracked floor as it began to burn a wilting piece of grass turning it into ashes.

As the light began to get bigger the ashes slowly turns back into flames as it floated around the ray of light making it turn into a majestic bird like figure.

Like a bird that was on fire..

It then swiftly dashed up and spread it's bright fiery wings emitting a strong wave of light that washed over the ruined valley as it's heat reached the bottom of the dry crust of the earth making the water underneath burst out like a geyser.

Water began to flow all over the crooked land and the light that the burning bird was creating helped the plants grow making the broken land into something similar to a paradise as it then quickly flied up making the clouds seperate from eachother allowing more sunlight to touch the land.

It kept flying higher and higher to the point that it could not be seen anymore...

He wakes up to the sound of a rooster crowing loudly near their house's window, startling the boy awake as he looks around to see that the fire that was lit last night was now gone and all was left were ashes and some coal.

He was the only one there left but a delicious aroma then hit his nostrils making him take the blanket off of himself and putting it on the side of the couch before heading straight towards the kitchen seeing his babysitter Niki cooking breakfast.

She hears the soft thumping footsteps coming near the kitchen making her notice the little dirty blonde boy that just came in with messy bed hair and a tired look.

"Good moring, Dream!" Niki spoke with a gleeful tone as she places a plate of what she just cooked on the table with a cup of warm cocoa since if it was too hot it would easily burn his tongue.

"Gh.. Mrrn..ng.. unt.. nihi.." He mumbles with a somnolent look and tone making the older woman giggle as she walks up to him and leads him up to the table with the freshly cooked food.

He looks down at him food which was scrambled eggs, rice and toasted break with banana slices on top. Still good at cooking as always, thought as he happily began to dig in while niki sets herself her own plate and ate with him on the table.

He looks outside and thought of how his mother and father will work with the cold snow everywhere.

The occupations of his parents were that his father is a farmer and his mother sells the fruits and vegetables that they have grown along with the eggs that the chickens they have, have been laying.

"Dream!!" The dirty blonde hears a familiar voice from outside as they hear the person running towards the entrance of the kitchen from the outside.

"Dream! I was waiting for you at our usual spot!" Said the punkette who pants from running around the farm trying to find his best friend.

Dream let's out a faint chckle with an apologetic look, "Sorry I over slept since I was too excited for christmas.." dream spoke with a sheepish smile, Techno rolls his eyes with his arms crossed.

"If your late again next time then your gonna give me an apple while at it" He huffs showing that he isn't that much of a patient kid, "Fine Fine, theres no need for you to be a big baby about it" said dream as he playfully crosses his arms with a pout.

"Good, now hurry up so we can make the biggest snowman than Squid and the others!!" Said Techno with a competative aura while dream grins and nods as he quickly eats him breakfast.

"Not that fast Dream, you might choke" said Niki as he then finishes his food and went to go change before giving Niki a thanks for the food.
