The week proressed with little casualties. Pepper still gets sick at least twice a day (thats a bummer) and she started to have small cravings and nauseous around lavender and pepper (how ironic) but everything else is good...
Well as good as it can get when tony stark is around.
"tony get up! And where are sour gummies!"- pepper.
"5 more minutes peppr"- tony slurs sleepily.
"never mind I found them. And will you get up, youre already...* checks watch* 32 minutes late tony."- pepper scolds.
"fine... fine, Im up. Its not like they can do anything Im still their boss"- tony says getting up. Pepper can only glare at the man who is on his way into the bathroom.

Peppers phone rings, she checks it to find the contact 'may'. She smiles and answers it.
"hey pep! How's life treating you?"- may
"hi may, its been good how are you and ben?"- pepper.
"its been great he just proposed to me yeasterday!, can you believe it!"- may
"that's great! Oh my gosh may! I am so happy for you guys. How did he did it"- pepper says exitedly.
"can we meet up? i wanna tell you in person, maybe you can tell me all the details being smitten by mister billioner"- may saya and pepper can practically hear her smirk. Unfortunately when may said that, tony heard it because just came out the bathroom.
"sure. When? Where? I've got some news to tell you too"- pepper says rubbing her stomach that has the smallest of bumps, and still unaware that tony is behind her.
" that old cafe we used to go to in highschool you know the one. Tommorow at four, sound good?"- may
"yeah, thats perfect actually"- pepper
"*noises in the background* oh shoot, I gotta go pep, apparently someone though it was a good idea to superglue their hands to a tree"- may says and pepper chuckles.
"bye may"- pepper.
"bye pep"- may
End call
"so smitten huh?"- tony says startling pepper.
"don't... Do that- lets go. Were late already"- pepper, dragging tony who was whining about breakfast.

The two are in the car going back to stark tower where tony hired a private doctor for pepper and its time for their first checkup. Happy is well in the drivers as per usual tony and pepper were having a conversation about why you need a full bladder in an ultrasound.
"but why do pregnant women need to have it full? whats the reason,the purpose of a full bladder in an ultrasound?"- tony asks while pepper sips water.
"tony, why are asking me this? I dont know, ive never been on an ultrsound before, ask the doctor later."- pepper.
"sound like torture actually, trying to hold in your pee while someone pokes your stomach, eugh"- tony
"why are you the one whose uncomfortable, arent I the one getting the scan"- pepper.
"yeah, yeah, details pep, details"- tony waves her off. And pepper rolls her eyes. Their destination approaches and before you know it they are in tonys private elevator to the penthouse. When they arrive they go into the room where it is temporarily made into a mini-hospital-birthing-clinic. Why is it there you ask? Well, cause tony really doesnt want the world to know about this, sure he can always go to a private clinic or make the hospital staff sign NDAs, but he's tony stark, I mean did you really expect him do whats typically done, and cause he's a billioner and he can.
They enter the room and they see a doctor taking a container out of what looks like a small fridge. Her tag said 'Cho' when she turned around.
"Hello good morning miss potts, mr stark, take a seat I am almost done preparing, I am Helen cho by the way"- they nod and do as she says, sit down, as she prepares other items and puts them in a tray near where the scan will take place.
(I do not know how these situtions work so I just went by what I mostly see in movies and shows and other books)
"alright miss potts, you can just lay down here and lift up your shirt please"- dr cho instructs, pepper does as she says and tony sits down next to her.
"alright, I will apply this jelly and its a bit cold, since you two arrived early"- the doctor does so and pepper flinches at the cold ultrasound jelly in contact with her skin.
"Im just gonna do this..."- dr cho gets a device to scan peppers stomach, and they see in the image in the TV looking device like it was static, just black and while and the occational shift in the color when helen moves her hand on peppers stomach.
"aaand there is your baby"- dr cho, they see a little blob that is supposed to be their child. Pepper gets emotional, she tears up and holds tonys hand, and he kisses it beaming a smile at her looking back at the machine he doesnt take his eyes off the small blob, right then and there he swore that he will protect his little blob of sunshine from anything, ANYTHING that wants to harm it. The doctor smiles at the rare sight.
"you are about three weeks in"- dr cho says breaking the silence.
"do you want pictures?"- dr cho.
"sure doc"- tony say handing pepper a napkin.
"have you got any health problems ms potts? Any prescriptions?"- dr cho says wiping off the jelly from her stomach.
"no, to both of those"- pepper says sitting up. The doctor nods and starts to print the pictures.
"and here you go"- she says handing them couple the pictures of their tiny baby. Tony seemed in a trance taking in every single detail of the image, and pepper thanks the doctor as they head out. The rest of their afternoon is clear apart from paperwork.
"are those tears tony?"- pepper says \s they get on the elevator.
"no... My eyes are sweating."- tony wipes the 'eye sweat' off. Pepper only chuckles and shakes her head.
"I almost forgot, Im meeting a friend later at four"- pepper tells tony after a while.
"alrighty , I'll be picking you up after then"- tony
*Sigh"Im also telling her about this"- pepper.
"what if she tell the news pepper, the whole world will know"- tony.
"I will be fine tony, you remember may, she my best friend I tell her everything"- pepper reasures him.
"*sigh, fine "- tony agrees with her, he knows better to question peppers judgement.
"what is it with girls and telling their best friends everything anyway"- he grumbles as they enter their shared office.
And pepper could only sigh.
