Regina's Birthday Surprise (2007)

Recap:
Today is Regina's birthday, as much as she would like to forget that. Something happened last year and didn't go too well, and Zelena and Will have a surprise for her. Cora doesn't seem to care for Regina much anymore and buys her the same present year after year. She's just got into the gym to start her usual training routine when Zelena and Will are about to put their plan into action.
Regina's POV
As soon as i closed the gym door, i could hear the two idiot laughing outside. I sighed and finished putting my trainers on using the door as my support, two words. BAD IDEA! The door opened and I instantly fell down at that person's feet, i looked up to see who it was.
"Do you ever stop fooling around?" He asked, that grin plastered on his face,
"Well i would have started training sooner if SOMEONE did didn't open the door i was leaning on" i laughed, he held out his hand and i took it. He pulled me up and i quickly tied my shoelaces and i was done.
"Yeah sorry about that. But i heard its someone's birthday today" he smirked again, this time mischievously, and i knew what he was going to do.
"Robin, Don't.You.DARE!" I said quickly backing away, he stayed stood where he was.
"Well well well, isn't it YOUR birthday today Regina?" He asked sarcastically,
"I'm warning you!" I said laughing slightly but still trying to sound threatening as i backed away further. Then suddenly he sprinted towards me, and i tried to dodge him, but obviously he was too quick. He grabbed me by the waist and flung me up into the air and over his shoulder. "ROBIN!" I screamed laughing, "seriously don't" i begged.
"Oh so your begging now?" I nodded once he placed me on the ground; his arms still around me waist, but that smirk said there was no point in running. He put his hand on my side and started tickling me. I squealed, squirming trying to get out of his grasp. He laughed as i fell to the floor in a fit of laughter, but then he climbed on top of me and continued the tickle torture, which i hated but loved at the same time.
"Get a room you two!" A voice echoed, Robin stopped and i quickly sat up. "Aren't you supposed to be training Gina?"
"Yeah until your friend decided to try and tickle me to death, and don't call me Gina" Robin once again helped me up once Will had left the room.
"Happy Birthday Gina" he whispered winding me up, i smirked and whispered back,
"Don't call me Gina" as i placed a quick kiss on his cheek. I quickly ran to the punchbags to avoid any awkwardness and he smiled towards me and left. After that i quickly grabbed some fingerless gloves; no idea what they're called, and started my routine. It consisted of firstly beating up the bag, then turning in the radio and listening to music, having a calming dance afterwards (which mostly consisted of stretches, twirling and flips).

Will POV
"So Ze, we going to start the preparations?" I asked,
"Well wake up little mister first, you know what he would would do if he missed out on helping his mommy having a perfect birthday. ESPECIALLY after last year." Zelena pointed out, i nodded, shuddering at the memory. That was one of the worst ways you could spend your birthday, trying to find your son who had been kidnapped by your ex-fiancé who is also the child's father. I felt sorry for the kid.
I ran up the stairs to the room next door to Regina's, Henry's room. I knocked the door slightly and walked in only to be hit by a pillow in the face. God you could tell those two were related.
"Hey Henry, c'mon time to get up buddy!" I whispered sitting on his bed. He groaned into his pillow, i chuckled under my breath,
"Do i have to?" A muffled groan said, i smirked knowing exactly what to say.
"Well who else is going to help make their mommy's birthday extra special?" I whispered in his ear. He sat up quickly, accidentally head-butting me in the face. He rubbed his head slightly but a smirk on his face,
"Well what are we waiting for!? Lets go!" He said quickly getting out if bed, yanking in my hand.
"Wow now buddy, don't you want to get dressed first?" I asked, he groaned but nodded. I got up and helped him dress, today was hopefully going to go well, HOPEFULLY.

Cora POV
I couldn't believe it was Regina's birthday already. The one person who I wasn't in the mood for today, and it was her birthday. I groaned getting up, i needed a coffee, or a whiskey. Anything as long as it could keep my mind sane for the day. I dragged myself downstairs to see Zelena rummaging through the cupboards under the stairs.
"Morning Zelena" i said loudly making her jump and hit her head on the wooden frame. She slowly took her head from the cupboard rubbing it softly,
"Good morning mother" she said cheerfully, i groaned and grabbed the coffee from the desk.
"Hey that's mi-" she shouted but i had already started drinking it. "I had to wait 5 minutes for that! The coffee machine is going slow again." She moaned.
"Sorry dear, but i need this more than you do" i said bluntly taking another gulp, "unless you want me on the whiskey, which can also be arrange-"
"JUST! Please don't ruin today, Regina needs this" Zelena interrupted, I sighed rolling my eyes. "What did you get her? Or is it another one of those books",
"You got me!" I said raising my hands in the air.
"MOTHER!" She hissed, i raised an eyebrow. "You can't keep getting her the same thing every year! You've been getting her the same thing since she was a teenager for crying out loud!".
"After what she said to me she's lucky to get something which isn't a slapped arse for her birthday" i mumbled. "So what did you get her, miss big sister of the year?" I scoffed.
"Well you shall see when she gets it!" She said whipping her head back around to the cupboards, probably searching for that "present". She was so much like Regina in the fact she looses bloody everything.
