Dean was peacefully sleeping when he suddenly felt a breath on his face. He moaned and slowly opened his eyes.
And met Castiel's blue eyes.

"Hello Dean."

Dean screamed in surprise and Castiel moved back, laughing.

"Damn it Cas' ! Personal space!" He yelled.

Castiel rolled his eyes.
"Whoa, a while I hadn't heard about this 'personal space'..." he laughed.

Dean grumbled and rubbed his eyes, still sleepy. He yawned.

"What time is it?"

"Um, exactly six in the morning."

Dean growled and burried his face in the pillow.

"It's too early. Wake me up in...two years."

Castiel removed the blanket, making Dean groaned.

"Sorry but we have to go in thirty minutes to the Croatoan zone."

"Why?" He mumbled, standing up with difficulty.

"We're out of medicines and hygiene supplies. We need to search some and it's only in the zone. Now that you are part of our community, you have to help it. You are a very good hunter, you will be helpful."

Dean took a deep breath.

"Okay, okay, I'm comin'...just give me some coffee and I would be ready."

Castiel gave him a dented cup filled with a dark liquid which seemed to be coffee that he brought. Dean started drinking but immediately spat all out.

"What the hell is this?!" He exclaimed, wincing with disgust.

"Soluble coffee."

"It's...It's disgusting!"

"Welcome in the future Dean." Castiel laughed.

After this short (and horrible) breakfast, Dean took a quick shower. He felt uncomfortable because Castiel was in the next room and he couldn't help thinking that he was going to come in and see him naked. But somehow...He loved this idea as much as it disturbed him. He splashed his face with water to clear his mind.
No, he couldn't like something like this.
He had some weird thoughts since he was here...
When he finally finished his shower, they left the cabin. It was sunny outside and they could see the blue sky with no cloud. Dean thought during a few seconds that it was the same colour as Castiel's eyes. There were a row of trucks and Castiel went towards Chuck who was making a list of medicines and hygiene supplies missing.

"Hi. Which is ours?"

Chuck cleared his throat.
"It's the black one. Weapons are in the trunk."

Castiel went to the truck and opened the trunk. It was effectively full of weapons and he took a shotgun and a knife then gave the same weapons to Dean.

"It's weird to see you with a shotgun." Dean smirked.

"More than be stucked in the future?" Castiel replied with a smile

"Touché."

Castiel got in the car and Dean was going to do the same when Chuck took him out of earshot.

"Be careful Dean."

"Don't worry it can't be worse than demons!" He said with a smile.

Chuck shook his head.

"I'm not talking about that. It's about Castiel."

"What?"

"It's a routine mission so you are just two. But Castiel...you know, sometimes...(he sighed) anyway, just keep an eye on him." He said, seeming uncomfortable.
