You look at him, thinking of an good excuse. " i did actually. Max went early and the bus didn't go. So i texted Lando if he could pick me up." Daniel looks relieved. "Thank god, i was almost thinking you were a thing." You laugh nervously. "Haha no." "Well okay y/n, i need to go. Maybe we could grab some dinner tonight." You are thinking about what Lando asked. "I have somewhere to be tonight, maybe another time." He hugs you. "Okay well bye." He walks away. You sigh. How did i manage this. You see Max coming towards you. "There you are finally." You smile. "Hey max, ready for quali?" "Of course i am. Talking about quali i need to get going. Only 15 minutes left." You look into his eyes. "Go get them." He laughs. "I will." He leaves and while walking away you see Lando coming towards you. He fistbumps Max on his way. "Hey love." You feel you are blushing but try to stay cool. "Hey Lando, aren't you supposed to get in your car?" "I am on my way actually, but i wanted to ask if you want to watch from the mclaren garage?" You look at him. "Lets go." You both walk in and Lando starts to get ready. Before putting his helmet on he gives you a wink. The qualifying starts and everyone is doing great. While going into the last 2 minutes Max and Lando both go into a fast lap. Lando misses fastest lap by 0.10 seconds. So its Max on pole, Lando second and Daniel third. When Lando gets out of his car he runs towards you and hugs you. "You did amazing Lando! Im so proud." He laughs "I didn't get to beat your brother but tomorrow we will see what happens. I need to get to some interviews but is our plan still on." You wink. "We shall see." He kisses you on your cheek and walks away. You have a smile from ear to ear, but you both did not know Daniel was standing right behind you and saw and heard everything.
