Ok, so I have an idea. I will write short chapters for this specific part of the story, but I will write multiple at a time. Ya, that's it. Lol, bye.
hi editing here, I just wanna say, I have a ton of school stuff to do soo... that may not be possible.
TW: Talking! Idk why I put that there- this chapter is mostly fluffy, so it should be fine? There is some talk of past hurt tho-
Techno tore his gaze away from the stirring sight. He needed no sappy shit right now. He needed to continue walking. And, that's what he did. Foot followed foot as he pushed on. It took almost all of his self-control not to indulge in the memories. Instead, he focused on the soft swaying of the trees, the warm steps of a winter squirrel, the hum of the leaves, and so on. In a trance, he walked on and on. Eventually, he looked down once again. He knew this place.
Technos's breath came out in huffs as he dashed across the forest floor. This time, he wasn't running from someone, but towards them. The night was dark, and the yowl of mobs was not helping his anxiety. (EgGxIEty. Lol, my friends and I always say EGGxiety instead of anxiety, XD) With a final push through the disastrous trees, he found himself in a semi-rock garden. It looked sloppy made and was in the middle of a fairy ring. (That's what I call a ring of trees.)
The trees around the area, on the other hand, were beautiful. There was a willow tree, its swaying leaves giving shelter to all animals alike. A little way off from that tree to the right, there was a silver birch tree. Long and elegant, with a touch of grace, from the way it swayed in the wind. Again, a little way off was a red maple. Bold and daring, this tree was the perfect place for warriors. She would shelter them, and give them rest. Even farther off, there was a Minecraft spruce tree. A tree of comfort. Further than that was a cherry blossom tree. With its limbs fully in bloom, it looked like a place for only the purest. And, completing the circle, was a lemon tree. Its sturdy branches held plentiful fruit, and bees buzzed happily around it. The lemons looked like little rain droplets in the morning mist, just waiting to fall off their branch.
Lounging underneath the lemon tree on a flat, open rock in the moonlight, was Dream. Techno breathed a sigh of relief. He had waited for him. He walked over, noticing how at peace the boy looked. He slowed his steps, quieted down his breathing, and walked over, wanting to scare the boy.
"Boo." The small child awoke with a start, eyes flung open.
"OH-MAH GOD- TECHNO! Jesus, you gave me a heart attack." Techno threw his head back and laughed. A good, strong laugh. A genuine laugh. And, since laughter is contagious, Dream started laughing as well. As the laughter died down, Techno looked to see if Dream had been ok. The last time they saw each other, Dream had been sobbing. Techno now realized that he had never asked what happened.
He was wearing bleach loose pants and a mock turtle neck hoodie. (@fiestycactus, thanks for giving me the idea!!) The hoodie was a baby blue-like color, with little smiley faces at the edge of the cuffs. He had combat boots on, and Techno could see no apparent injury or hardships. He let out a breath. All was well.
"Take a pic, it'll last longer." The smaller one piped up.
"Oh, you cheeky little..." Techno said before narrowing his eyes.
"Hmmm... I'm willing to bet that you won't be able to catch me, even if you tried, Mr. I'm so intimidating."
"How much?"
"$10"
"Bet" And that was how the mad chase began. They slipped through trees, huddled under low-hanging branches, vaulted over roots, and all in all, enjoyed themselves. Then, in a flash, it was over.
"Well." Dream panted. "I guess I get to keep my 10 dollars." Techno burst out laughing.
A comfortable silence fell over them. The breeze blew through their hair as they looked to the sky.
"So," Dream said, settling down snuggly. "What's your family like?"
"My dad, Philza Minecraft, is an avian. He rules over the sky. My brother's main goal in life is to become an arsonist. My goal is to be the blood god."
"I thought you hated being called that?"
"I'm used to it now, and maybe if I am the blood god, they will stop bothering me."
"Oh."
"What about your family?"
"That- We don't need to talk about that- Oh look, a fighting gale!" Techno was suspicious but said nothing. What was Dream hiding?
DONE. Bye, my nuggets.

One messed up family.
FanficDream was alone, in a sense. He still had patches. He still had Badboyhalo, or Bad, as he called him. He still had the voices, and as violent as they were, they were good company. Sure. His friends had left him. Sure, his family hated him. Still, he...
