Day 3

I was awoken by a masked figure... Unfortunately for them it takes my brain a few minutes to wake up, so they got pinned down making a big ruckus and waking up my team mates
"Rio, uhm... What are you doing?" Juvia asked making me took at her
"This person woke me up." I said straight forward, as I held a blade to the masked man's neck
"Rio, it's okay... You know him." Mira said smiling at me. I looked at her then down to the person before everything finally registered in my brain. I quickly got off Jellal and put the knife away
"Sorry about that Jellal..." I said scratching the back of my neck shyly, looking down at his feet aswell.
"It's alright. Just curious about why you didn't recognize me." He said when I didn't reply right away Mira sighed and moved forward.
"She takes a few minutes to fully wake up. Her body moves before her brain during this time so next time just give it a minute... I think everyone has been through it." She giggled slightly
"What are you even doing here?" I asked him changing the subject.
"You can have your spot back. I can't go in today since one of the judges is from the council." Jellal told me, I smiled and hugged him
"Thank you, thank you thank you, OMG I'm finally gonna participate!" I yelled excitedly making everyone laugh. I ran around trying to find good clothes and things before taking a nice warm shower.

"Welcome to day 3 of the grand Magic games, today I'm joined by Lahar from the magic council. Welcome Lahar." The guy commented
"Thanks it's good to be here. Today I'm going to be looking out for anyone who's cheating, so don't do it okay." Lahar said making the whole stadium laugh with/at him
" Let's begin. Guilds send out your participants before we explain the rules." Makko the pumpkin mascot announced
"I'm going today. No way you're gonna stop me!" I said already making my way down to the arena.
"I'll also be going." I heard Erza's voice
" From Blue Pegasus we have Hibiki, From Mermaid Heel we have Milliana, From Lamia Scale we have Jura, From RavenTail we have Orba, from Sabertooth we have Olga, from Fairytail team A Erza and from Fairytail team B we have Riozawa!" The commentator announced everyone who made their way down.
