to the eye, chloe was a angelic girl. a straight A student, a perfect girl, a normal person. to steve, chloe was a mess. depressed, mean, and yet nice. to steve, chloe was everything. but, not a love interest.

so the blonde, sitting on her soft blue bed. a book, "hatchet", in her hand. she's
been reading it for about a month. a knock was heard on her wooden door. the door
crept open, revealing a face of her mother, Janice Jenkins . the blonde turned her head to face the door.
"yes?" she asked. "chloe, you're going to be late. that friend of yours, steve, is
here to pick you up." she told her daughter. chloe slammed her book shut and got her backpack.
chloe ran out the front door. she smiled once she saw her friend, steve. she climbed in the
passengers seat. "hey, harrington" she told him. ''hey, chloe". it was a sort of silent ride to school
with chloe and steve. although, they did sing along with the radio.
once they arrived to school, steve was greeted by tommy and carol. the same with chloe.
chloe was a outcast, she was always forgotten. not by steve though, she loved that.
they entered the school building. chloe wondered through the halls. she stopped as soon as she
saw nancy and her geeky friend, barbara, walk by and say something that chloe hated.
