The dinner didn't go as bad as what Helga thought it would have. It was very civil and all they talked about was the wedding although she could sense the tension between her brother Raffy and Stella because they didn't even say hi to each other although she caught both of them stealing glances from one another.
As for Miggy, he gave his undivided attention to his bride yet Helga wasn't sure if she should be happy about it that they've finally come to terms or what. He only asked her about wedding stuff, nothing more than that.
After the dinner, they all went out to the estate's backyard where Wendy wants to do her wedding. The backyard was very huge and to Helga's surprise, there wasn't a swimming pool but a garden of flowers. Assorted flowers from stargazers to roses and all those different colors. It looked very beautiful; it wasn't questionable why Wendy wanted her wedding to be there.
They were all standing on Wendy's backyard except for Wendy who went back inside to pick up some important phone call. Gina sat on the white cloth hammock, swinging herself, while Stella and Raffy stood next to each other, not saying a word as if neither of them existed. Helga got all the more curious what really happened because Raffy only told him partly of what seemed to have happened. Nothing big and she kept in mind that she's going to have him spill everything that happened when they were at her resort.
And if that night couldn't be any better, Miggy stood next to her with his goblet full of white wine.
"Talagang kinareer mo to no?" Miggy started, pressing his lips together.
Helga tried to acknowledge him with a smile. "This is what I love to do,"
"Pano naman napasok and wedding planning sa isip mo?" Miggy asked,
Helga sighed, watching Gina walk closer to Raffy and Stella. "I don't know. Before I started this, nakaattend ako sa ilang weddings and I've always been fascinated by it you know,"
Miggy chuckled, "Why not get married yourself? Sa boyfriend mo?"
Helga didn't see that question coming. At first she wasn't sure how to respond but she managed. "We're--we're just waiting for the perfect timing," Helga lied.
She didn't want Miggy to think that Paolo hasn't proposed yet and if he would, she might not say yes for a million reasons.
Miggy only gasped. Finally, Wendy came back from the house, panting a little bit.
"Guys, there's a little bit of an emergency."
They all gathered up and gave their undivided attention, waiting for Wendy to continue.
"There's just a crisis in our new restaurant in Beverly Hills and Mom expects me to goover there for a week and then we'll all go back together here to continue planning the wedding,"
Wendy paused and looked at Miggy and Helga,
"Honey, can you plan the wedding with Helga while I'm gone for a week?"
Miggy could only stare back and Helga just felt her jaw drop.
...
Miggy finally agreed and Helga couldn't really say no. They went back to their wedding planning and have decided that the backyard wedding is official. The reception would be held at the same place. Helga told them about how she planned the wedding would look like and asked for Stella's advice.
When the wedding location was already planned out, everyone had decided to call it a night. Gina is staying at Wendy's estate so she didn't have to be anywhere else.
"Helga?" Helga turned around and saw Stella walking towards her, "Pwede mo ba ko ihatid sa bahay?"
Before Helga could respond, Raffy joined them and said, "No need to worry Helga, I'll bring Stella home."
