"Talaga bang yan ang nakalagay sa High School yearbook natin?" Raffy couldn't help but laugh while he continued reading their high school yearbook that has only been distributed literally after twenty seven years.
Back in the day, if Olivares High School was a kingdom, the school itself would be the castle and Raffy was the king. He ruled the school back in the days. Heck he was even more popular than the principal. Raffy was the man every guy wanted to be. He was the trendsetter. Whatever he wears, there would be guys wearing the same style the next day. He dated the most beautiful women in the campus, sometimes more than one at the same time. Anyone associated with Raffy was considered popular. He was both ladies and men's men.
"Huh... I can't believe our yearbooks have been finally distributed after twenty years," Raffy's younger sister Helga said. She flipped through the pages of her own yearbook and smiled.
"I'm so excited to see my old friends. So much things we need to catch up on." Helga added.
Raffy stood up from his chair and stretched. "Are you going tonight?"
Helga closed the yearbook and sighed, smiling. "Why of course Kuya. It only happens every once in a while. And this one's grand. Kaya nga ako umuwi dito di ba? And I'm taking Pao with me."
Pao is his Helga's boyfriend for more than five years now. They've met when Helga moved to France and pursue her fashion career.
"Are you going?" Helga added. Raffy just watched the beautiful view of Roxas Boulevard and Manila Bay from his condo's balcony. Despite the noise, the humidity and the smell, the view relaxed him.
"Why not? It's gonna be interesting to see people who have changed and who haven't."
Before Helga left, she walked up to him who was still on his balcony and said, "And maybe you'll finally find your match. From our schoolmates." She pecked him on the cheek and left.

When Helga got in her BMW Z4, she needed a moment to take a breath and settle herself. While she was browsing through her yearbook, she forgot and didn't quite expect that she was gonna see Miggy's high school profile. They also had lots of pictures in the yearbook together, more than what Helga had expected.
Well, past is past. They're only memories now. Helga said to herself before she pulled up the driveway and went to Rockwell and find her attire for the reunion.

"I didn't know you were Mr. Popular back in high school," his girlfriend for three years and now fiancee Wendy from California who came with him for this reunion said as she flips through his high school yearbook that has only been distributed that morning.
Miggy sat next to her, drowsy. He's been dealing with his jetlag for over a week now and it's been giving him terrible headaches.
"Honey," Wendy nudged him and asked, "Who's this girl who seems to be with you a lot in the pictures?"
He looked up to see what she was talking about only to find a picture of him with Helga, his high school sweetheart, whose arm was hooked to his.
"Oh, that's my uh... My ex-girlfriend." Miggy answered blankly. Helga flipped through the next page which showed more pictures of him with Helga, from homecoming to prom.
"Is she gonna be there tonight?" She asked too excitedly,
Miggy gasped and shut his eyes. I hope not. "I'm not sure. It's possible."
Wendy closed the yearbook and lied on his lap.
"I wanna meet her," she muttered.
Miggy took a deep breath. It would be considered a great christmas gift if he and Helga wouldn't run in to each other in the party.

"Mare I'm sure madaming magugulat pagdumating ka mamaya sa reunion," Stella's best friend since elementary Amanda a.k.a Mandy said enthusiastically. They've been together ever since and even went to the United States together to start a new life. Despite the handful of paperbags they were carrying from their purchases in Glorietta, they still were shopping for more.
Stella is actually quite excited for the reunion.
It's time to face her nemesis back in high school and show them she's no longer the crooked-tooth nerdy Stella they once knew.
According to a lot of people, she ages well. The older she gets, the more beautiful she becomes and its all natural. Stella isn't like one of those women in their forties insecure about their wrinkles and their diet. For her, you only live once so might as well enjoy everything there is to enjoy.
"Ready ka na bang makita ang man of your dreams?"
Stella knew whom her best friend was referring to. Rafael Magsaysay.
"Ano ka ba, ang tagal na non. We were just friends." Stella reasoned out.
Yeah, because I was never good enough for Raffy.
"Okay. Sinabi mo e."
From that moment, Stella couldn't help but feel really excited about their high school reunion.
