Neither Stella and Raffy initiatated a conversation on their way home.
Raffy felt numb with pain deep inside; Stella knew that at that moment, she already lost him. She didn't need words to confirm her suspicion because it would only tear her apart.
You're a forty year old woman Stella, get a hold of yourself.
To her surprise, when they got to her place, he walked with her still without saying a word and when they reached her pad, before Stella could even know what was going on, Raffy devoured her lips like a madman. She could feel his anger the way he kissed her; rough and dominating. Stella could only savour, knowing this could be the last kiss she would ever share with the only man she loved and she would ever love.
They went in without taking their lips off each other's and went straight in Stella's bedroom. The night was young yet everything went quick.
Quick and impulsive that they didn't even think about protection. They were both too caught up in the moment to think about anything else. After their ferocious love making, Stella fell deeply asleep.
And Raffy kissed her for the last time before walking out of her house. Her life.
...
Helga woke up, feeling like the happiest woman in the world, on the chest of the man she truly loves.
She couldn't recall the last time she felt that way. Surely not the entire time she was with Paolo.
And speaking of Paolo, she hasn't spoken to him since three days ago. According to him, he's really busy with their project with another oil company from Kuwait in Bataan so he won't be around till the week after.
It also just dawned on her that what she was doing with Miggy was wrong. He's about to get married and she's their wedding planner and she's in a relationship with another man.
Yet, whenever she's with Miggy, she's seems to forget about the risks and how wrong everything is.
She looked into Miggy's still shut eyes. She tentatively placed a kiss on his lips and smiled. He was the most beautiful man alive and there was no way she could get over this man. However, she also realized she can no longer work for them as their wedding planner and she intends to tell that to Miggy later during the day.
...
Miggy could not recall if he has ever had a morning as amazing as this one.
He slowly opened his eyes and the first thing he noticed was Helga on his chest. He could not help but smile.
His mind was still having a hard time processing how everything happened. How everything seemed to fall back into place without him knowing how. He could only smile and be thankful.
A few seconds later, Helga looked up to him and placed a kiss on his lips before she sat up. "I'm gonna make some breakfast,"
Before Helga could leave, Miggy pulled her closer and gave her a deep, lingering kiss. Helga giggled, "Hala, wala na tayong matatapos ngayon,"
Miggy lightly bit the tip of her nose and muttered, "I don't care. We could just stay here in bed all day,"
Helga shook her head, still giggling before she lazily dragged herself out of the bed, "I'll make us something to eat."
Miggy watched her leave with nothing on. His smile has gotten even wider, realizing he could live with that for the rest of their lives.
...
Miggy got out of the bed, drawned by the smell of the freshly brewed coffee by Helga. Helga was now wearing a white silk robe, pouring the coffee in two small plain white coffee cups.
