Have you ever wondered what would happen to you?
If you fought in the war and lost people you knew?
Coming home is not bad but it's not easy either.
Especially when you know that you were a fighter.
Did you lose someone special? Did they die in a fight?
But did they die for something they knew was right?
Did you live your life full, was it worth it to you?
Did you accomplish everything that you needed to?
Did you lose someone special from home or from war?
Did you serve for a cause that was worth fighting for?
Do you wish you tried harder or did something different?
When you need to realize what you did was magnificent.
You defended our country with honor and valor.
Now you've come home as the weary traveler.
It's time to mend and see how far you have come.
You fought till the end and now you are home.
