Some spend this day with their families. Some look for veterans to thank. On days like this, though, America visits an old friend.

What must have been going on in Steven Hyde and Jackie Burkhart's minds during the episode "Jackie Bags Hyde" (3x08) of That 70's Show since there was a lot of subtext. This is one of my favorite episodes and I had to explore how they reacted to what happened that day! I actually wrote Hyde's part about two years ago long before I wrote any other JH stories, but I've cleaned it up a bit and added Jackie's chapter for this. A few small scenes added to Jackie's chapter to understand the day better.

Happy late Veteran's day, in my class we were assigned a creative writing project based of off a picture call "Reflections"(the cover). I figured I'll post it here... enjoy :)

Veterans Day Poem

This is based off of a true story that happened today, November 11, 2015 (Veteran's Day). Backstory: A friend of mine has an older brother that was enlisted in the U.S. Army. Several Months ago, she and her family were told he had been KIA (Killed In Action). And today, they had a Veteran's Day assembly at her school, where several Veterans attended. One of those Veterans was her brother, the same one that she thought was dead. This is a story for her, and for anyone else who's gotten a surprise reunion, or any reunion in general, with am Army Veteran. And for you Vets out there, thanks for doing what you do. :)

Sara Martinez is the daughter of Veteran Enrique, who's been serving the country in the military for as long as she can remember. But when Veteran's Day comes close, Enrique returns home to his family forever with a Purple Heart, to everyone's delight. Unfortunately, the attention Sara gets at school for this makes her the target of the jealous rich girl, who thinks her shoe designer father deserves more respect than Enrique.

Have you ever wondered what would happen to you? If you fought in the war and lost people you knew? This poem is dedicated to my grandma and grandpa who helped me become more involved with my family history. It has been incredible to learn about my ancestors. - Hey, guys so I know that this isn't a story and has nothing to do with Teen Wolf. But I wrote it at school for a competition for veterens day. I got second place! I thought that it was pretty cool. Let me know what you guys think! A lot of people competed and I really am shocked that I won at all. Family history is a huge part of my life and I love learning about it! Recently I got to do some family history work on some veterans from my family and it was awesome learning about them. A short story written for Veterans Day.

While Bruno and his girlfriend is away on Vacation, Sgt. Hernandez, the rest of my friends and I were left alone in his apartment by the time it was Veterans Day. Sgt. Hernandez decided to spend the night at his apartment with us before the rest of the two boys arrive for the visit tomorrow. Wait I think It's Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth shhh!
