Regulus stood, leaning against a wall waiting for the Lord and saviour, James Potter.

Regulus had expected him to come at least fifteen minutes late but he was proven very wrong when he saw the boy walking over to him nearly bang on time.

Once the Gryffindor had finally gotten to Regulus, he picked himself up off the wall and started walking along the corridor, James next to him at a distance.

There was an awkward silence, at least it was awkward for James, much less for Regulus.

It wasn't long until Regulus pulled a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it with the tip of his wand.

James watched curiously as the Slytherin blew the smoke into the open air. He'd always assumed that smoking was Sirius' thing but alas, he had been proved wrong.

"What's wrong, Potter." Regulus asked, coming to a halt.

"What?" James asked, turning to face the boy.

"You keep staring at me, why."

"I just didn't expect the little goodie two shoes to smoke in the middle of a hallway." James smirked. "Actually I didn't expect you to smoke at all."

Regulus scoffed.

"In what world do you suddenly know everything about me?" The Slytherin raised an eyebrow, querying (queer like him <3) the Gryffindor in front of him.

James put his hands up in surrender, turning around on his hero and continued to walk down the hallway.

Regulus rolled his eyes and followed the older boy down the hall.

It was going to be a long night.
