Victoria Greengrass was awoken by her cousin James bursting into her room in the Potter estate, opening the curtains then jumping onto her bed, scaring off Butterscotch.

"Good morning sister dearest," James said in a tone all to chipper for six in the morning.

"Morning" Victoria groaned into her pillow.

Once, more recently after the death of her father, Victoria would have told him to fuck off but she gave up on trying to stop him years ago besides if she wanted to get on the quidditch team she would have had to get used to early mornings.

When James was certain she wouldn't just immediately go back to sleep if he left he went to pester Euphemia and Suko while they tried to make breakfast. Upon James' departure Butterscotch the cat returned.

Victoria pulled her black fur-lined dressing robe over her silk green slip. Pet Butterscotch then slid down the bannister in the main hall where waltzed into the breakfast room to find her uncle Fleamont reading the daily prophet Butterscotch came running after her. James must still be with Ephie in the kitchen.

"Good morning Monty." Victoria kissed Monty on the forehead then sat to the left of him around the large breakfast table, the greying ginger cat nuzzled her legs under the table.

"Morning Princess." He smiled broadly at her. Just then Ephie and the Potter family house-elf Suko came in carrying two huge trays of food James trailed behind carrying a large jug of orange juice in one hand and an identical jug of milk in the other.

Euphemia grinned, happy to see Victoria out of bed. "Hello, dearest."

"Goodmorning, Ephie."

James sat down on the right of Monty, he proceeded to throw a blueberry across the table at Victoria. She did not have the energy to retaliate so she just glared and pursed her lips. Butterscotch loved blueberries anyway.

"That's why Evans refuses to go out with you, you're too immature." He put his hand over his heart as if to say he was wounded by the comment.

"Ah yes because you're the picture of maturity." James teased.

"Yes I am compared to you I'm a Slytherin were all of a superior maturity to Gryffindors with the exception of death eaters and besides Lily would say yes to me." She gave him a smirk and Euphemia stuck her tongue out at her son.

"Are you trying out for the Quidditch team, Vic?" Fleamont asked, trying to change the subject before his children started fighting over Lily Evans.

"Merlin yes, I'm simply not looking forward to the early mornings. Evan definitely won't let me get away with sleeping in." Victoria answered, catching a blueberry James threw, in her mouth.
