After weeks on end Theodore continued to be an annoying flirt.Nora said to tell him to piss off if I was uncomfortable but it an odd way, I wasn't.
I didn't tell her about the meteor night because she would've gotten herself expelled.
Theodore's presence wasn't too bad. He was an exceptional friend. Michael and Nora didn't seem to think the same.
They had a theory that he was only talking to me to use me for my smarts and to probably hook up.
But I didn't think so. If we only wanted to have sex, he would've given up by now and why would he use my intellect if he himself was almost equivalently smart.
He wanted me for something. It just wasn't adding up. Why talk to me after six school years. We almost had all the same classes coincidentally but we've never spoke till we had to partner up.
Pansy always tended to flirt with him but he'd just shake it off. So why me? Just something about the whole thing felt off to me. It could be Nora and Michael's influence but still: odd.
It was finally the weekend after a week of stacks on stacks of homework but I got it done with help of Theodore. I insisted I'd do it myself but he literally took my work and did it himself. He has some grown man strength in my opinion.
I headed to the library to find another book but I was stopped when I heard familiar voice walk in and sit at the tables behind the isle I was in. It was Theodore, he was here with his friends. Once I heard Draco's voice I did my best to go through the isles without being seen but once I headed for the exit, Theodore had called my name.
The snickering from their table filled me with worry but I played it off like I didn't even notice they were there.
I turned around slowly to see them all looking at me, "What?" I said.
Theodore gestured me to come over but the dislike expression on Draco's face gave me flashbacks. Pansy had an attitude looking face whilst Blaise was just smiling.
I nodded my head no and walked out. The whole feeling of being near them all wasn't something I liked.
As expected, Theodore left the library and followed me.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"A muggleborn, sitting with a bunch of pureblood slytherins? Really Theodore?" I replied.
"Well Blaise and I don't care about that stuff. I'll even make sure Pansy and Draco behave." He said trying to convince me.
"I don't care." I said.
I was intending to turn around but I didn't have a chance to second guess myself.
Before I knew it, he had grabbed my hand and pulled me towards them.
As I walking towards them, the look on Draco's face fell as he saw me.
Something was not right; I had a feeling.
"This is Adaline," he said, introducing me.
Draco didn't tell them.
