Ava’s POV
It was finally lunch and Em and I met up at our usual spot.
“Hey” I said, sliding my lunch tray next to hers.
“Hi” Em said, grinning cheekily.
“What?” I asked, confused as ever.
“Oh nothing…just that you and Mr Justin Drew Bieber seem to be getting along very well” she said smiling proudly.
“Uh shut up Em. I just helped him around school- he is new. We’re just friends” I stated, even though I wish what I said wasn’t true.
“Damn it. You would have made such a cute couple. Your couple name could have been Avstin” Em argued, pouting.
“Em just deal with the fact that Justin and I will never be in a relationship. I mean, look at me!” I said with a fake smile. I actually think I really liked Justin, even though I only really met him today.
“Whatevs. But ‘Never Say Never’ “Em quoted and I rolled my eyes, now searching for Justin through the sea of people in the cafeteria. But to my disappointment, I couldn’t find him.
Justin’s POV
“Baby please understand it was just so the public don’t suspect anything” Selena argued through the phone.
“You couldn’t have done anything other than flirt with Josh Hutcherson and HOOK UP with Luke Bracey?!” I asked, furious.
“Babe if I didn’t the public would have thought I was still not over you and think that we’re gonna get back together!” Selena shouted.
“We are back together!” I argued.
“Yeah but baby the public can’t know! If they do I’ll keep getting hate!” she stated and I rolled my eyes.
“Urgh okay. Love you”
“Love you too” she said and hung up.
Well if she was gonna try to keep the paparazzi to not suspect that we were back together, I was going to help. I’m pretty sure Selena just wants to have me and Luke, not some stupid story about the hate getting to her all of a sudden after two years. Well, it didn’t matter to me because to the public, I was single, and I was going to the make the most of it.
