Ava’s POV
School was finally over but I couldn’t help but feel disappointed that I hadn’t seen Justin at all after first period. I started to slowly walk home, still thinking about Justin. What was I thinking? Justin could never like me. Why would he even bother to talk to me? I’m a nobody, and he’s the most talented eighteen year old in the world.
“Who’s the most talented eighteen year old in the world?” a voice asked, making me jump. I turned around to see none- other than Justin Bieber himself, smirking.
“Um…nobody. I was actually asking myself that question out loud” I blurted.
“Oh…okay” Justin said, but I could tell he didn’t believe me.
“So Ava…” he asked, making my heart flutter. He remembered my name? Awww
“Yeah?” I asked eagerly, hoping he would ask what I thought he was about to ask.
“Do you reckon… you could maybe… give me Addison’s number? If you have it” Justin asked and I stopped walking and gulped. Did anyone else hear my heart shatter into a thousand little pieces? I felt like I was going to cry.
“Oh… um sorry but I don’t have it… we aren’t really friends” I managed to choke out, fighting back tears. Out of everybody, Addison? I mean, I should have seen it coming, Addison was the popular one and I was just normal. I mean I’m probably not even pretty. Em says I am but I’ve never had a boyfriend. I don’t even have many friends! I’m just not good enough…
