while steve was on his way to the gym for a work out he came across a blue dragon egg. when the egg hatch he knew he was to become a dragon rider and he also had to keep his dragon who he named Saphira safe from the threats of the world
*the next morning Steve woke up in his Apartment seeing himself cuddling the baby dragon hatchling as the baby woke up looking at Steve with her dark blue eyes as Bucky got home from the store buying a baby bottle and a cooler of rotten fish*

*Steve looked at his hand seeing the dragon rider mark on his palm*

*Steve picked up the baby dragon Hatchling and carries her in his arms to the kitchen as Bucky prepared a bottle of milk mixed with formula and put a dead fish on a plate. Bucky looked at the hatchling in his best friend's arms*
baby Saphira-*raspy trilling, whimpers*
Bucky-are you hungry?
Baby Saphira-*chirring*
Bucky-go on drink while it's still warm
Baby Saphira-*quiet purring, curious whimper*
*Bucky gently puts the nipple of the bottle in the baby dragon's mouth as she drank it all in one gulp. when the milk was gone the baby dragon sniffed the bottle wanting more*
baby Saphira-*purring, sniffing*
Steve-I'm sorry that's all there is
baby Saphira-*chirring loudly*
Bucky-shh!
*the baby dragon turned her attention to the dead fish curiously before jumping on it*
baby Saphira-*grunting, chirring*
*Steve and Bucky watched as their baby dragon ate the dead fish chomping on it and swallowing it whole before looking at her caretakers*
Bucky-she must have been hungry
baby Saphira-*loud burp*
Steve-*chuckles*excuse you
*later that day Bucky and Steve were watching TV as Steve looked at the dragon rider mark on his palm and saw Baby Saphira walking over to the two super soldiers*
Baby Saphira-*sniffing, chirring*
Bucky-want cuddles?

*the baby dragon hopped on Steve's lap looking at him*
