Matt's POV
I was standing at the train station watching Stella leave back to France. I didn't know that the potion was going to affect her mind. The last few days with her were harder than the next, she was slowly losing grip of her reality. Why was I hurting her? I knew when I saw her that I had to have her. She had the most captivating soul, I never had anything in my life. For the first time I felt like I had control of my life, now that I can see my effect on her I don't want this power anymore. That stupid lion still had a big part of her, maybe it will help get her back or maybe it will only make things worse.
I knew I had to make things right, not for me but for her. So that is why I am standing in front of Stella's home. Her father will surely know what to do, he was the head curse-breaker. One of the most famous pure blood curse-breakers of all time. They may hate me after this but if I still get my Stella back then I will do anything it will take.
I knocked on the door and her father Elijah Vane opened the door. My heart started to beat faster than normal.
E- " Oh, Matthew my boy, what are you doing here at this time?" He opened the door farther to let me in.
M- " Mr. Vane, I need help. Stella.."
E- " What has that girl done now?" He sheathed out and slammed the door shut. I couldn't help but jump.
M- " Nothing sir but I.."
E- " After all I did for her, she still wants to start problems. She is a Nuisance, I tried really hard to shape her into a proper wife. To have the Vane and McGonagall family finally unite. So tell me what has that little brat done now?" I always knew that Stella's father was a tough man but I never expected this. All I could do was see myself in him, and what I saw was life changing.
M- " Sir it is not Stella, It's me I have done something terrible to her. She is losing her memory because I kept giving her a faulty love potion. I am sorry sir I didn't know what I was doing, I just want to fix this now."
E- " There is nothing I can do, nor do I want to. You see Matthew I am not her real father, I got the burden of raising her because I met her mother. If she is losing her memory then maybe it is for the best. You could make her into the person you want her to be. Now leave."
Was this really happening? The man I looked up to was no worse than my own father. It was at this moment that I could finally see the pain behind my girl's eyes. I was so blind before, I had to save her and I had to do it quickly.
I was in my dorm laying down trying to think of ways to help my girl. It was all too much and my eyes were starting to get heavy. I was then brought into a deep sleep.
Robert McGonagall- " WHERE ARE YOU BOY! I WILL FIND YOU AND IT WON'T BE PRETTY!"
A 7 year old was hiding in a closet, that 7 year old was me. Only a child with no support or love, just pain and heartache. I could hear his feet on the hardwood floor of the old house. The smell of alcohol reached my tiny nose, the smell was always constant in the old estate.
R- " You know your mother did the same thing, always hiding from her punishment. NOW IF YOU COME OUT KNOW THEN IT WON'T BE AS BAD!" His voice was roaring through the house. All I did was ask for something and I was being insubordinate, I was never able to ask for anything. Father says you have to take what is yours, asking only makes you weak.
R- " Are you really as stupid as your mother." The closet doors opened to a tall man with dark curly hair and dark brown eyes that had a little red in them.
