Chapter 33

The day after was a very quiet day.

Everyone was very hung over and any sudden loud noise would cause the whole house to groan in pain. So we just decided to stay in our rooms and not interact for the benefit of us all.

Karl, nick and alex hadn't come home after last night and I was more than ok with that.

With the news of me and Tommy out now, i didn't know if Karl had found out yet. And
I didn't want to see him knowing that I'm the reason he's hurting.

There's so many things I should've done. I should've talked to Nick or alex, or even Karl about it, but I didn't and I'm really mad at my self about it.

I decided today I was going to forget about it and sought things out later.

We leave in 2 days and Niki and techno we're leaving today. Niki and techno were saying goodbye to everyone at the front door. Bags in hands and giving everyone hugs and bidding farewell as their Uber waited for them outside.

"Bye everybody! I'm gonna miss you all so much." Niki waves from the end of the driveway. We all wave goodbye as the hop in and drive off.

We slowly walk in the house and all let out a sigh as we all think the same thing.

We're doing that in 2 days.

"Anyone heard anything from Karl or the other 2?" Clay asks looking down at his phone.

"Yeah, they said they went for a drive and stayed out late. They said they slept at a motel and will be back later today." Wilbur says from the kitchen.

"What time exactly?" I ask shyly. Wilbur looks at me with a soft look.

"Not till around 4:00. Don't worry, it'll be ok." He pats my head in a reassuring way. I smile at him and hum as I walk off.

I'm sorry but I have such a good storyline but it's for once the trips over and I can't wait to start writing so expect a bunch of time skips in the next few chapters. Sorry :)

4 minutes till their back.

I was hiding up in my bedroom and scrolling through Tiktok, constantly checking the time after every single video.

They'd probably be late anyways and wouldn't get home exactly on 4, but anytime from then they could get home.

These last 4 minutes were keeping me on the edge.

I hear the front door open and 3 voices can be heard greeting people.

What?! Already? But we still had 3 minutes. Why are they home early? This wasn't the plan. No!

I hear footsteps come towards my room. I shuffle around under my covers before flinging them on top of me. I shut my eyes and steady my breathing.

"Saturn." I hear wilburs voice from the other side of the room.

I stay as quiet as possible and keep my face straight.

"Saturn. Karl, nick and alex got back. I know you've been stressing about it and I wanted to know if you wanted to come down with me?" He says. I feel the bed sink as he sits on the end of the bed.

I keep up my act and keep my face straight.

"Saturn I know you're awake." He says in a joking tone, his smile evident in his voice.

My face burns as I try my hardest not to smile.

"I'll tell Tommy about what you told me... about his umm-"
