Instead of traveling back in time to the era when the three deities existed, Takemichi found himself transported to a time when everyone was alive. This unexpected turn of events filled him with immense joy, as he now had a second chance to save everyone. Without a second thought, Takemichi headed straight to Hina's apartment to see her and discuss something important.
From Takemichi's perspective:
I was making my way to Hina's apartment, realizing that I was still weak and that nothing would change unless I took action. So, I decided to ask Hina if she would join me in learning self-defense, hoping it would equip us for the challenges that lay ahead.
Time skipped:
Finally, I reached Hina's apartment and eagerly shared my plans with her, hoping she would agree to train in martial arts with me. I knocked on the door and anxiously waited for it to open. After what seemed like an eternity, Hina swung the door open, surprised to see me standing there. "Takemichi-kun? What brings you here?" she asked, her expression filled with confusion. Hina couldn't fathom the reason for her boyfriend's unexpected visit. "Hina, there's something I want to ask you," I said, capturing her curiosity. Hina's face tinged with wonder as she awaited the question. Nervously, I muttered, "Um... would you be interested in learning martial arts with me?" I anxiously awaited Hina's response. Hina was unperturbed by my request; instead, she was pleased to be the one I approached. "Is that it? Of course! It would be my pleasure to learn with you, and it could also be a way for us to bond," Hina replied happily.
Upon hearing Hina's reaction, I couldn't contain my joy and almost cried, but I held back, reminding myself of my promise to become stronger and protect Hina. After bidding our goodbyes, we parted ways. As I walked with determination etched on my face, I made a silent vow, saying, "I promise Hina and everyone else that I will become stronger and protect all of you."
No one's perspective:
Takemichi couldn't sleep as he pondered the future events that awaited him. "This is my last chance; I can't afford to waste it. I must grow stronger and stronger to safeguard Hina and everyone's future," he reasoned. After a long day, Takemichi eventually fell asleep.
The following morning, at 7 a.m., Takemichi was preparing for school when the doorbell interrupted his routine. Confused about who it could be, he hurriedly made his way to the door. To his surprise, Hinata stood outside, waiting for him. "Hina? What brings you here?" Takemichi questioned, taken aback by her unexpected presence. "I wanted to accompany you to school and also let you know that I found a teacher who can train us in martial arts," Hina replied, smiling warmly. "Really? That's fantastic news! Come on in; I was just getting ready for school," Takemichi exclaimed. Hina entered the house and glanced around, amazed by the organized arrangement of Takemichi's belongings. She had no idea that he was so disciplined about his things. Soon, Takemichi emerged from his room, dressed in his school uniform with a sweatshirt over his polo shirt. Hina was taken aback by his fashion sense, knowing well that Takemichi typically lacked it. She also noticed that he had changed his hairstyle, letting his hair down.
"Hmm, Takemichi, is everything alright?" Hina was puzzled by Takemichi's sudden change in appearance. Takemichi looked at her, wondering what could be bothering her. "Yeah, is there something wrong?" he asked. Hina shook her head and reassured him, "Oh no, you're looking really good today." Takemichi felt a bit offended by her response, but he brushed it off, knowing that he wasn't known for his fashion sense.
Hina and Takemichi walked silently hand in hand as they made their way to school. When they reached the school, Takemichi's friends from Mizo Middle approached him, completely taken aback by his striking appearance. "Whoa, Takemichi, are you running a fever? Should we take you to the infirmary?" Akkun joked. "Our Takemichi is gone! Bring back the real Takemichi, you impostor!" Kazuhi exclaimed, fake tears streaming down his cheeks. Makoto and Takuya joined in, teasing Takemichi about his sudden change in looks. Takemichi felt irritated by his friends' lack of support.
"Hey, don't be so mean! I thought we were friends, and I want Hina to be proud of me among her friends," Takemichi responded angrily to their reactions. Hina blushed and laughed in response to Takemichi's words, saying, "Takemichi, no matter how you look, I will always adore you." Takemichi gave his friends a smug grin, and they pretended to shed tears out of jealousy. "Damn you, Takemichi! I wish I had a girlfriend like Hina. If you hurt her, I'll personally make you pay," Akkun exclaimed, still feigning tears, while the others muttered about Takemichi's incredible luck in having Hina.
As the day went on, Takemichi and Hina walked home together, engaging in a playful argument about Takemichi's newfound attractiveness. "You better not cheat on me, Takemichi, or I'll personally end you," Hina warned, her voice tinged with jealousy. They arrived at Hina's house and bid each other farewell.
(So yeahhh, I hope you like it. I made Takemichi more mature cuz why not, and I also made Hina and Takemichi's connection closer.
The following chapter is a time jump about their training, and Takemichi will be strong enough to defeat others. Just wait hihihi)
