Hinata cries in relief while the others celebrate that Takemichi is now safe. Mikey leaves the hospital to be alone, but Draken notices him and recalls Takemichi's request not to leave Mikey behind. He was following Mikey when he noticed him leaning against the wall and began to cry. Draken has finally realized what takemichi means: Mikey is just a 15-year-old boy who cries, laughs, and gets angry. He appears to be strong on the outside, but on the inside he is broken. This is what Takemichi means when he says not to leave Mikey behind because only a few people, one of whom is Takemichi, understand Mikey's feelings. 

"Takemitchy, you idiot, don't scare me like that," Mikey cried, leaning against the wall. Draken can't take it any longer; he doesn't want to see Mikey suffer alone, so he approaches him.

 Draken approaches him and whispers, "Mikey." Mikey's eyes well up with tears as he looks at him. "Kenchin, I'm so scared," Mikey sobbed, unable to bear it any longer. "I know you're scared, I'm scared too, but we have to be strong for him," Draken tried to console Mikey. 

"When he said his final words to me, my world almost collapsed," Draken said, tears streaming down his cheeks. "It's all about you, Mikey," Draken said, smiling. Mikey looks at him, curious about Takemichi's final words. "Well, he just said don't leave that idiotic monkey Mikey behind," Draken laughed.

Mikey is pouts by the response, but he is relieved that Takemichi genuinely cares about him. Mikey and Draken laugh as they say, "Well, that's Takemitchi we're talking about." They are completely unaware that they are being watched. "You really are a good friend Takemichi kun, that's why I love you," Hinata said, leaving the two behind. 

Mitsuya is speaking to Peh yan inside the hospital. "You should apologize to Takemichi and Draken Peh yan, because the two of them you wanted to kill are the ones who always visit Pah in prison," Mitsuya said, looking at Peh. 

"Takemichi testified for Pah in order to reduce his prison sentence, so you should thank him as well," Mitsuya said as he walked away. Peh is ashamed of himself because of what he has done.

Time skip

Hinata, Draken, and Mikey have entered Takemichi's room and are waiting for him to wake up. Takemichi could wake up any minute now, according to the doctor. Hinata has decided to nap next to Takemichi, while Draken and Mikey go out to get doroyaki and food for Hinata. 

Hinata feels Takemichi's fingers stroking her hair after a long wait. Hinata rubs her eyes and turns to face Takemichi, who is smiling at her. "Takemichi!" Hinata bursts into tears as she hugs Takemichi. "Don't scare me like that! I'm so worried about you! I can't even sleep properly!" Hinata cried. 

"I'm sorry, Hina, I promise I'll never leave you again," Takemichi tried to console Hinata. The door burst open, revealing Draken, Mikey, Mitsuya, and Peh. "Takemichi! you're finally awake!" Mikey exclaimed before hopping onto Takemichi's bed. 

"Oww Mikey, I'm still recovering!" Takemichi exclaimed as he clutched his wound. "Oh sorry sorry hehe," Mikey said, rubbing the back of his neck. 

"I see you're finally awake, and by the way, someone wants to talk to you, Takemichi," Draken says, smiling. Mitsuya then tapped Peh yan on the shoulder, signaling him to say something. 

Peh yan bows and says, "I'm sorry for what I've done, and thank you for testifying in order for Pah's prison sentence to be reduced."  

"It's okay, Peh, I'm not blaming you, you just did it for your friend, and don't worry, I'm glad to help," takemichi says, smiling at Peh yan.
