Y/n Perspective
I walk down at the airplane, i took my first breath and my first steps in italy. I look up the sky and it's already sunset, the sky was painted yellow and a mixture of pink and purple. The sky in italy looks indeed beautiful today.
I can feel the beginning is really starting since i walk out of the airplane, my grin in my visage was getting wide to the feeling that this new chapter of mine is already playing. I'm glad i had italy class at the past, I'm able to understand some words they speak in italy.
I was inside the airport terminal, I'm grinning so much right now. I'm immensely excited for my new life, but I'm having doubts somehow. I've always had a fear of the future, my future.
I'm scared that maybe I'll get into a really low crisis someday, I'm scared that people here in italy will judge me, I'm scared that I'll not have a job, I'm scared that i— Fuck it.
I'm an overthinker, this is who i am. And i am literally ashamed of being an overthinker and doubting so many things.
Naur it's my new life, right? Like it's my time to change myself! It's time to be an extrovert, to be confident, not doubting of anything more.
But everything does take time, it's my time to adjust everything first before doing all the things i have to do for living.
First off, to the hotel.
I went out of the airport terminal then as soon as i step out, a taxi just immediately went right in front of me. I instantly went inside the taxi, then i look up to see a quite charming taxi driver.
"You must be a tourist if I'm not mistaken?" He spoke in English, i chuckled and shook my head. "I suppose not, I'll be living here though" I spoke in my english aussie accent, "Oh and um— Can you perhaps help me with the luggage and bags? Please." I asked as i tilted my head, he instantly nodded his head "Of course, lady" He went out of his taxi car, he went towards my bags and carried the large ones first.
After he's all done, we simultaneously went inside the taxi. "Thank you so much for your help, sir" I spoke with a smile on my visage, he curved a smile on the corner of his lips. "You're always welcome, Lady." I just let out a small smile, "And also— The location I'm going is towards Aman Venice" He nodded his head, "I'll take you there right away." I nodded my head in response.
Everything in this drive was silent, but I'm glad that it wasn't that awkward. "By the way, this question wasn't supposed to be mean but— Why did you move here in italy?" I look at the taxi driver right in front of me who asked the question.
I pursed my lips, i actually don't want to talk about it but i told him anyway. "The reason why i move here in italy is because i had this one man whom i really loved in my life—" The driver hummed in response as he listened to my answer.
"Well, he's a young and charming one. But he devoured and betrayed me, but at the same time, he also fixed me somehow. So we had this large argument the past weeks, then i finally gave up on his possessiveness. Whenever I'm with any men I'm hanging out with, he's so possessive over it— But he had another girl to be with" The taxi driver let out a frown on his lips, i see in the mirror.
"So after that, there. I made up my mind to live here in italy, because i consider Italy a beautiful country. And then i experienced many terrible things in the country i live in, so I'll start a new life here in italy." The taxi driver nodded his head, "Thank you for answering my question, lady. And also— I'm sincerely sorry about what happened to you" Y/n nervously chuckled.
"Oh sir— You don't need to apologize! It's not your fault" I scratched my nape nervously, "But still, you must've feel sad about it or perhaps you didn't want to talk about it." I really don't want to talk about it, honestly. But I'll keep that memories away front me, as hard as i can.
"I-It's alright! Thank you for your concern though." I spoke with a low toned voice, "By the way, what's your name?" I tilted my head, the taxt driver instantly spoke. "My name is Alessandro, what about yours?" I opened my mouth as i spoke, "I'm Lee Ahn y/n, Call me y/n instead so that it's not really long" The driver grinned and nodded his head.
"Of course i do, also— Goodluck to your new chapter, I'm rooting for you!" I sheepishly smiled at him and look down, people here in italy were not quite bad after all. "Thank you so much! I wasn't expecting that someone would root for me" I spoke with a blood rushing on my cheeks, I can't help but kept on smiling so much.
"Anyway, we're already here, lady." Y/n look up to already see the large hotel right in front of her. "Don't worry about the bags and luggage, the porters were in charge of it." Alessandro grinned slowly, i nodded my head and i spoke, "Thank you so much for bringing me here in the hotel, perhaps I'll see you some time?" The taxi driver nodded, "Of course I'll do, lady." He smiled.
"Good evening!" I see the porter greeted with his wide grin, he knew I'm a foreigner because of my visage and my light pale skin."buona sera!" I spoke in italy, i tried at least. The porter opened his mouth, astonished. "Oh wow, your italian sounds fluent. Ms. Lee ahn y/n" I sheepishly look down with a wide grin on my lips, "I tried, though."
The porter grabbed all the bags and luggage and place it in the hotel luggage cart, i waved my farewell to Alessandro who's also waving his hands in farewell too. I went inside the hotel, i went towards the receptionist. "buona sera, I booked a unit in this hotel. My name is lee ahn y/n." The lady scanned her device, and my name expectedly pop out of her screen. She nodded her head, "Here are your keys, Ms. Lee ahn y/n. Your unit is in **********" She offered the keys towards me, i grab it and let out a grin. "Thank you, Ms. Lee ahn y/n. Please enjoy your stay in this hotel." I nodded my head in response, "Of course" I spoke and the porter was already in front of me and gestured to follow him.
I went towards him and followed him to the elevator until we reach in my hotel unit, he unlocked the door for me. "Thank you so much for carrying my bags and escorting me." The skinny man porter chuckled. "It's my job, thank you." I gave him a small smile.
We both placed the bags and luggage on the floor, then he left me with a farewell. I also said my farewell too as he left, i ran towards the large bed i own then lay down on it with a deep breath. Damn, everything look so expensive and elegant in here.
I'm glad I'm enough rich to afford this damn expensive hotel, I'm honestly quite lazy to place my clothes in the closet but i have to keep my lazy ass up. I grab my tidy folded clothes then place it inside the closet, i keep on adjusting some of my things i bought.
I keep everything in place then arrange some things, i basically just bought my clothes, my devices, money, bags, makeup, skincare, undergarments, towels, medicine and more small important things i needed since this hotel is fully furnished already, so it's easy for me. I'm not gonna stress anymore about the bed, the tv, pans, or many more heavy things.
I change my clothes into a fancy silky black night gown, the gown hugged my body firmly and perfectly.
I start to think about my friends at the other country, I'm still sad the fact i left them without hanging out or spending our last moments. But at least yoongi was there for me before i could say my farewell.
I went towards the balcony and take a deep breath from the cold and clean breeze, the lights of the city is really astonishing and beautiful from the perspective of my balcony. Everything is really new, this new chapter of mine is prodigiously new, but i somehow felt—lonely.
But it is indeed starting.
It's my time to adjust and change, and to be happy once again.
