Two years later ~
Rosé POV
It was a bright and sunny evening. The sun was about to set as I finished up with my schedule for the day. I was walking out of the YSL building, passing by my coworkers who congratulated me on my engagement. I smiled, thanking them happily as I made my way down to my car in the parking garage.
Settling down in the driver's seat, I admired the back of my hand. More specifically, the beautiful 2 carat diamond on a decorated bed. It shimmered, even in the dim light of the garage, and I couldn't be happier to be wearing it. I'll never take it off.
I drove home from work, and all was well. I parked on the driveway of the new house I was moving into—a three car garage, corner lot, 4000 square foot home with a yard twice the size of the house. Upon entering the front door, a little cutie and her mother greeted me.
"Auntie Rosie, you're finally home!" Areum said and hugged me.
"What a surprise to see you again today, cutie! How's the boy you like?" I teased and she gestured that Jennie was here.
"You like someone?! Who is it?" Jennie asked. "Is he cute?"
"You're a bad keeper of secrets, auntie," Areum complained in a pout and I ruffled her hair.
"Yo, not that hard! Wait, let me try this."
I looked to the side and saw two crackheads playing around with some bubble wrap. Jisoo and Lisa had some wrapped around their bodies and hugged each other as tightly as they could, just to make the bubbles pop.
I laughed at them and made a comment, "And this is why you're single."
I put my purse down and took my jacket off to unpack some of the boxes in the kitchen. When I opened one, I saw that it was from my bedroom. I was about to closed it back but I saw the photo I tucked into there. I initially took it out of the frame to get rid of it but I just couldn't... It was a picture of me and Tony.
After that day at the hospital with Asa, I thought about talking to Tony one last time but knew he didn't deserve any last words with me. I decided not to see him that day and never talk to him again. Thankfully, he never came to see me again.
I folded up the photo and tucked it into my pocket. I still didn't know what I wanted to do with it.
"Mummy, now that auntie Rosie moved here and auntie Jisoo moved out of our home, auntie Lisa said she'll live with us! Will she really stay?" Areum asked with excitement and hope.
Jennie looked to the idiot who now had bubble wrap around her head and sighed, "Unfortunately."
"Oh, come on Jennie, I know you've wanted to ask me to move in the second Jisoo said she was moving out," Lisa said as she came over to join the conversation.
"No, I really didn't. I imagined you'd live on the streets after Rosie left and that I'd be forced to take you in," Jennie replied sarcastically.
"You.. you'd take me if I ended up on the streets?" Lisa said with a fake sappiness and wiped a non existent tear. "I love you, Jennie." Lisa grabbed Jennie's face and kissed her cheek, making Jennie groan in defeat.
"Don't make me regret living with you," Jennie warned. "Why don't you find someone else to kiss like Jisoo did."
"Oh, right..." Lisa's face grew a smirk as we all turned to Jisoo who played innocent. "Jisoo kissed a man."
