Today is such a bad day. You did bad on your exam, you were 10 minutes late to school and now you forgot your money, so you can't buy yourself lunch. Wonderful. You just want to go home. Even if you can't buy lunch, the volleyball team invites you to sit at the table with them. You don't wanna go, because that Yamamoto guy ALWAYS sits next to you, and you don't have the energy to be more annoyed than you already are, but you decide to brush it off. You stay at your seat, the team members coming one by one at the table, with food. The last one to come to the table is Yamamoto. He comes, but trips over a chair and spills his food all over you. "Are you fucking serious right now?!"

"Y/n, I'm so sorry, I-"

"Leave it." You get up, furious, then go to your locker. "Fuck. For real?!" you say seeing you don't have any clother for change in there. Perfect. You decide fuck the rest of the classes and just go home. You call Kuroo to tell him that you are going home. "Please tell the teachers that I'm not feeling good. All I wanna do now is go home, get cola and chips and watch movies."

"Okay, I will. I hope your day will get better."

"Thanks." you say closing the call. You begin walking to Asahi's house, still with your clothes being dirty as fuck. You get to the house, but you don't have keys and nobody was home. "Shit." You start looking for the spare key, finding it under a flower pot on the window. You enter the house, go to your room, take some clothes and go straight to the bathroom to take a shower. You put your clother in the washing machine, then you get in the shower. That shower actually makes your day better. Youu get out, change in a new full set of clothes and prepare to go to Karasuno, because today is the match with Nekoma High, which is the last practice match until the Spring Tournament. You get there and sit where you always sit, near the reserves. Before the match starts, you hug both Asahi and Tanaka for good luck. Then you give a hug to Kuroo too, because you are now kind of best friends.

The match starts. Karasuno and Nekoma being equally as good, all Nekoma team and even coach Nekomata being shocked. Tsukki blockes almost every single attack, Kuroo doing so with Karasuno attacks too, Noya and Yaku both catching every ball. The only ones who score from Nekoma are Lev and Yamamoto, when in Karasuno, only Hinata and Asahi could score. Hinata's and Kageyama's move is incredible! So the first round is won by Karasuno. The second round starts. Daichi serves. Yaku catches. The ball goes around the net for like 5 minutes, until Tsukki tries to score the ball, the ball going to the right. Yaku runs, catches the ball and falls on the bench. Suddenly, you see he can't get up, so you and the reserves go to see what is going on. "Are you ok?" Shibayama says. Coach Nekomata comes too.

"My leg hurts."

"I think you have twisted your ankle. Shibayama! Go on the court." Yuki Shibayama, the other libero takes his role, almost making Nekoma win this round. They are on tie, the team who scores now wins the round. Kageyama sets the ball for Hinata, but he fooled the other team, Tanaka hitting the ball, scoring and winning the second round, and the match. Nekoma team is SHOCKED. Even Karasuno is shocked, they beat fucking Nekoma! Tanaka and Noya go crazy mode, jumping and running around, this being their way of celebrating a victory you guess. Asahi, Suga and Daichi hug each other, a tear of happiness falling off Asahi's cheeck.

"He is so cute. He is so much of a cinnamon roll." you tell to yourself about your cousin. "But Tanaka's way of celebrating is cuter." You are on Nekoma's reserves' bench, to look like you are on Nekoma's team. But you actually feel bad for them. They seem so sad that they lost. You try to confort them. "Hey, this is just a practice match. It doesn't affevt your position at the Spring Tournament, this match was just for fun. Come on guys, cheer up! I'mma bring you donuts at school tomorrow." You hug Kuroo, but they really cheer up when you talk about donuts.

Tanaka sees you hugging Kuroo. "Why is she hugging Kuroo?"

"Ooooh, so someone is jealous I see." Noya says. "If she does like you it's just a frienly hug. Plus, you're not official yet."

"What if she hugs Yamamoto too?"

"I guess someone likes my cousin." Asahi says popping up behind Tanaka. "Did I scare you? Sorry. I heard you took her to a cool date. She really liked that date."

"WAIT REALLY?"

"Yes." Now you come to their direction to congratulate them. You hug your cousin and your crush, you not knowing he is your crush yet.

"I'm so proud of you guys! Honestly this day was shit, but you winning made it so much better. I can't wait to go home and watch a movie."

"What movie are you gonna watch?" Tanaka spit out without wanting to.

"The exorcist. Why? Do you wanna come watch it with me too?" you say jokingly.

"He can come if he wants." Asahi says. You know what he is trying to do, but you are not complaining. You just give him *the look*.

"Yeah sure, you can come. Consider it as the date I promised you I'd take you on." Tanaka blushes a little. Not much but enough to be seeable. You leave the gym with Tanaka and your cousin, going to Ukai's shop and buying snacks. You go and buy them. You get to your house, you and Tanaka going to living room, starting to watch the movie and eating snacks. In the middle of the movie, Tanaka puts his arm on your shoulder, you pretending you don't notice. You want to eat a barbeque chip, but there are no more.

"I bought one more." Tanaka says handing you another bag of chips.

"I was supposed to pay for everything this time."

"Sorry not sorry." You snuggle into his arm. Tanaka is trying to be the brave guy again, but he is obviously scared, you being too, so you hold eachother. The movie finishes. "Well damn. That was scary."

"Tanaka, you're right."

"Call me Ryu."

"Okay. Ryu, you're right." You eat the rest of the snacks, then Ryu gets going. You give him a glass of water, Tanaka sitting up, walking to the door. Wait, I forgot my jacket. He runs towards you but slips on the floor and accidentally pushes you on the couch, him falling on top of you. You stare at eachother for 10 seconds, both being MAD red.

"Should I give you what you gave me on our last date?" Ryu says trying not to stutter.

"I mean- I'm not saying no." So, Tanaka leans forward, both of you closing your eyes, your faces getting closer, until you feel your lips meeting his.

Tanaka leaves. "Thank you for tonight Y/n. See you." You wave, now realising you like him, really much actually. GIRL, YOU LUCKY BITCH YOU KISSED YOUR CRUSH!! You go back inside, not being aware that Asahi saw everything.
