"Oh! You've found a body! Excellent."

The shrill voice echoed through the room once again. Subconsciously, Hyunjin turned to the screen to find the same green cat mask. The cat's grin only seemed to widen at the looks on everyone's faces.

"Now, here's the next set of instructions! Bodies are to be dumped in the elevator to your right-" as if on cue the wall surrounding the elevator lit up a vibrant red. "-they will be cleared out at midnight."

Part of the group broke off to examine the elevator, carefully stepping around the body. How had I not noticed before? The elevator looked normal, an old yellowed button being the only option. But the rest of this building seems so new?

Curious, Yuqi pushed the button, causing the doors to open. The girl used her knuckle, bringing attention to the chunky ring on that same finger. Hyunjin peeked his head in, noticing several unlabeled buttons as well as one that indicated it would open the doors. Jackson pushed him out of the way, stepping inside. Their hands touched briefly, but Hyunjin recoiled almost immediately. Is it possible for a human to sweat so much? Before the younger could protest, the cat spoke up again.

"Now before you get any ideas, you can't escape through there, since it immediately removes all oxygen upon moving."

"Then why are there buttons?" The cat seemed to ignore Yuqi's question, continuing to question the group.

"So! Who wants to do it?"

"Do what?" Hyunjin turned back to the group, eyeing Chanhyuk messing with something in his hands. Perhaps it's a fidget toy of some sort? The boy seemed to push a button before glancing up to catch his eye.

"Move the body of course!" The cat spoke on cue, only raising Hyunjin's suspicions.

"We're still looking at evidence." Hyunjin tried to make eye contact with Yeji, but the girl was too focused on the screen. In doing so, he forgot to keep an eye on Chanhyuk.

"Oh I thought you already decided! Go ahead and discuss it then!"

Hyunjin turned his attention back to the body, blood steadily leaking out of the wound. He recalled that the same substance now covered the bottom of his shoes. Jackson had kneeled down next to the body, moving hair out of the face, as if verifying that she was, in fact, dead. His hand fell for an instant too long, accidentally drifting across the growing puddle on the floor.

Yuck.
