"Hyunjin! Hyun-" Blinking awake, the boy in question glared at the source of the voice. His sister stood above him, hand ready to slap.

"What the fuck?" He followed her outside the room, shutting the door behind him. "Are you trying to make us suspects?

The boy grumbled at her silence as they made their way to the gym. Unfortunately, there seemed to be another occupant. Momo sat in the middle of the floor in a rather inhuman pose. With her dark hair covering her face, the boy almost had a heart attack, millions of horror films flashing through his mind. She twisted her neck, cracking as it turned.

"Oh, hey." The woman continued as if they weren't there, moving her joints awkwardly to a silent rhythm. The siblings stood awkwardly by the door, the taller hoping that Yeji would handle the situation.

"Aren't you supposed to be with Somi?" He visibly relaxed as the girl broke the tension. The woman however, stood up rather quickly, her joints seeming to snap back into place.

"She said I made her uncomfortable and wanted me to leave." Not very talkative are we?

"Uh-" Even Yeji wasn't sure how to keep the conversation going. She had begun shifting her weight, a nervous trait the two of them shared.

"I didn't kill her if that's what you were wondering." The woman leaned over, snagging a near empty water bottle. Her every move seemed simultaneously slow and careful, but too fast to really take notice of. "I'll leave you two alone then-"

"No! It's fine, we'll just move." Yeji glared at her brother, no doubt irritated at his submissive attitude. He grabbed her arm, practically dragging the girl out into the hall. "What did you need to talk to me about?"

"Who do you think did it?"

"How should I know? I'm busy trying to keep Jackson and Lucas from tearing each other's throats out." He almost dreaded walking back to his room, instead guiding his sister to the cafeteria.

The coffee machine was practically smiling at him. Surely some decaf couldn't hurt me? The metal reflected the artificially blue lighting, as well as the small fingerprints left behind.

"Don't drink the coffee." He paused at Yeji's words, hesitant.

"Why?"

"It comes out of a machine, which means it could have been tampered with." He sighed, knowing she was probably right.

"Whatever." He opened the fridge, examining the contents. There were gallons of milk, practically every kind. Who needs coconut and almond milk? As he ventured further back, his hands felt a very familiar bottle. No way-

His favorite kombucha brand and flavor, to boot.

The bottle popped open with a satisfying click, contents fizzing at an alarming rate.

"Why do you drink that?" Yeji herself was opening a bag of chips, checking the entire surface for punctures. She had perched herself on the counter, donning a loose grey sweatshirt. The girl had mentioned a closet in one of the bathrooms earlier, but he hadn't bothered to check it out. He glanced at her face, noticing the teasing smirk splayed across it.

"It's supposed to have health benefits. How else would I maintain my youthful appeal?" He grinned as she shook her head in disgust. Finishing his bottle, he dumped it into one of the recycling bins. Surprising. On further inspection, there was also a compost container that had been closed off, hiding away any scent.

They turned off the lights, heading back to their rooms. He thought about the conversation from earlier and Momo's reactions.

"Hey, make sure Somi's alive."

"Aww, concerned about your girlfriend?" She elbowed him, hard enough to leave a bruise.

"She's not my type." For a moment, he was in silence, the younger already sneaking back to her room.

He walked into his own room, only to be met with the lights flashing on and the strong smell of floral scented soap.

"Where were you?" Jackson stood in front of him, too close for his personal liking. The soapy smell was emanating off of him in thick waves,

"Out."

"That's rather suspicious, isn't it?" Hyunjin looked at the man's hands, a raw red color greeting him in return. So he went out, too. Lucas was stomach down on the bed, looking through a book he found in the common area. He had a headband on, further deteriorating his serious demeanor.

Knock knock

Before either man could turn towards the sound, Lucas shot up, swinging open the door. To everyone's surprise, Yeji greeted them, eyes wide.

"She's dead."
