When you opened your eyes you and Karl seemed to be in a house you were unknown of. Karl on the other hand seemed to recognize the place. "I recognize it here... but I don't remember if I've been here? I-I don't know.". He seemed to be upset. "Hey hey! Its ok I'm sure you can remember!" . You tried comforting him which seemed to work. Later that day you got a knock. Karl was showering so you answered it. A man who seemed to be at least 6'4 was there. He had slight long pink hair in a braid, what seemed to be tusks,and a black suit with some gold on it with a mask which by assuming you thought was his masquerade mask. He did a slight bow, gave you two letters, and left. "Who was that?" Karl yelled from the bathroom which by you responded with "I don't know but he gave us a letter one with your name on it but mines on this one-?". You said in a surprised yet puzzled tone. "How do they know my name?" Karl steps out of the bathroom (HE IS DRESSED I SWEAR-)."We are part of the timeline or in other words when we go back we are like the main characters they know us.". "Ohhhhh-" you said realization in your voice. You open the letter to reveal nicely written handwriting in cursive which read:
Dear Lord/Lady Y/n,
You have been one of the many chosen to go to Sir Billiam lll's masquerade. It will include many activities you must participate in to go. As well as wine and food will be provided. You will stay for one whole week which a room will be provided as well. Its rank will matter on the timing of your arrival. To go you must have the required things for such. If you would come that would be fairly appreciated.

"Wow," you thought to yourself "this is gonna be awesome.". But that was only a thought. Little did you know what was going to be a friendly party would become everyone blaming one another just to find a escape to the never ending nightmare that was just to begin.
