I sat on my vanity, mindlessly combing my hair. They dragged us back with them when Hope slipped up about not having a place to stay. I should melt her mouth shut. I put the comb down when I snapped out of my daze. I heard voices downstairs. I stand up and walk  there quietly. I find Hope eavesdropping on Damon, Stefan, Elena and Rose's conversation.

I sent her a questioning look but she just motioned for me to be quiet. "Look, Elijah's dead right? So that means no one else knows that you exist." Oh so they're talking about dad and Elijah. "That you know of." Rose adds. "Not helping." Damon said. "I've never met anyone who's laid eyes on him. We're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction."

"We don't know if he's real, for all we know he could just be a bedtime story." I heard Stefan say. "You're really clueless about vampire history aren't you?" I walk to them and flop on the couch. "I mean why would supernatural creatures -which people think of as a myth- make up other myths." I cross my legs and arms.

"He's real." Hope sits beside me. "Anything you know, wonder twins?" Damon asked. "Well not a lot but we know that there's a family of them." Rose paled. "There were 7 children, one died of plague, the other died during a full moon when he watched the werewolves turn." I continue Hope's sentence.

"Wait- werewolves are real? But- that's impossible." Elena said. "Vampires are and werewolves aren't?" I asked in disbelief. "Your looking at two werewolves right now. Well- part." Hope said as we glow our eyes. "We're from the Labonair family, one of the families that lead the crescent pack. We're practically royalty."

"But back to the topic at hand. The parents couldn't bear to lose more children so the mother, a witch, turned her children and husband into earth's first vampires. The originals." I lean back on the couch. "How do you know all this?" Stefan asked. Hope shrugged. "Well it's common knowledge amongst vampires."

"Then why didn't we know anything?" Damon asked, not believing us. "Well your sire must have fucked up." I say. "How long have yo been a vampire?" Elena asked. "Hope's not a vampire." Yet. "But to answer your question, I turned at sixteen and I'm currently seventeen. So a year." "Well how did you know all this? I mean I have five centuries on you and I didn't know as much."

"Well my sire is very old. She was directly turned by Klaus Mikaelson himself. She's only a few decades younger than the originals. Which means she's about a thousand years old." Good thing I'm a good liar. "If you have more questions, ask Hope. I'm going hunting." I speed out of the house.

"This is a terrible idea." We were in some apartment owned by a vampire friend of Rose. We were here in hopes of finding more about dad. Not that we didn't know enough. "Slater? Slater, it's Rose. Open up!" Rose knocked on the door. "He's not home, sorry." Elena shook her head. "No. We didn't come all the way here for nothing."

Rose used vampire strength to kick down the door. "After you. Slater!" I walked around the apartment. I whistled at the sight. "He's dead." I inform them. They immediately walked to where I was and was met with his grey and veiny corpse. "Looks like whoever blew up the coffee shop found him and killed him for his information."

"Yeah, probably to stop him from helping people like us. The guy was a vampire almanac. Knowing too much information just bit him in the ass." Rose walked to the windows and pulled the curtains back. "What are you doing?" Elena gasped since Rose didn't have a daylight ring. "It's tempered glass." Hope said.

"U.V rays can't penetrate." I add. "I used to come here and watch the day." Rose looked out the window. Elena put the photo she was holding down and tried to log into the computer. "Um... It's password protected. I can't get in." I walk to her. "Excuse me." I touch the computer and it flickers.
