Hazel Williams

Marco was on the edge of waking up and he did. He got up slowly and looked at me with a murderous look in his eyes. God, I'm dead.

"That's it princess." He stormed over to me holding a gun to my head, all of his men stormed inside, the room was full of people.

70 guns were held on my head and that's when we heard it.

PLAY

The Backstreet Boys, That Way.
They're here, I smirked and looked over to Marco who was looking confused and scared at the same time.

A few seconds passed with everyone looking at each other. Silence, that was it. Well, it was silent for at least five seconds.

The door burst open, a few men came in and handled around 20 of Marcos. And then my saviors came in.

Jace, in the middle, Levon his sidekick who was standing right, and Alex who stood left.

My breath hitched as I looked at Jace. He was looking at me, already. His face flooded with relief. He cared.

All hell went loose. Shots were fired, we were running out of the hotel, to be graced by a majority of people standing outside.

We ran back inside and I hid behind a flipped table in the lobby and grabbed a gun from a dead man.

"Rest in peace, amigo." I smirked and got out of my hiding spot. Shots were fired from left to right, right to left and every other direction.

"Tell me why!" Levon yelled while fighting a man
"Ain't nothing but a heartache!" Alex sang next, while firing a shot.

"Tell me why! Ain't nothing but a mistake. Tell me why, I never wanna hear you say!...." Jace sang last while strangling a man, he had a beautiful voice, holy shit.

"I WANT IT THAT WAY!" All three of them sang while dodging kicks while dancing. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

And moments later, all of Marcos men were down, except for him alone. I could feel him behind me, I could hear his quick breaths. He was scared.

I turned around to see him looking at me, a loud ringing noise filled my ears, it was a gunshot that made it. Marco was dead, on the floor.

Blood gushed out of his head, making a pool of it around his body. The bullet flew right between his eyes, Jace hit a perfect spot.

Stop if you want.

He shot him, with the gun I bought him.
"Shame I had to use this on him." He said, twirling the gun around his finger before putting it in the belt of his slacks. He then turned around to look at me.

I stood there, frozen, pale and without color in my face. Jace's face turned into a confused frown, a one filled with worry, too.

Instead of looking at him, I looked behind.

My mother was holding a gun to Jace's head. She was standing at least eight feet away from him.

"Hello sweetheart!" She yelled with a sour smile planted on her face. My breath shook and the instinct took over.

I grabbed the dead man's gun and pointed it at her.

"You know you wouldn't do it, am I right? And if you would, why?" She asked with that fake smile. Fucking hell, if she doesn't shut up and lower that goddamn gun right now I'm shooting her.

"Yes. I would. For all those times you beat me unconscious, for all those times I cried myself to sleep because of you, Eliza. And for all those times you made me feel insecure about my body and feel like I'm not worth anything." Jace's face morphed into one of disgust and horror.

In a second, Eliza's body was on the floor, looking like Marco's. I dropped my gun onto the floor and sighed.

With a short gasp, Jace hurried towards me and wrapped his arms around him. I buried my head into his chest.

"Fuck. I thought I lost you." He whispered while kissing my head, holding me tightly. He held me like he was afraid I'll run away.

"Why do you care for me all of a sudden?" I looked up at him, but I wasn'tready for what came next.

"Because I love you."
