taehyun sighed aloud, dropping his pencil onto his desk and letting it roll off and hit the floor. lately, he has been studying so hard to keep his grades up, he was finding it hard to stay awake in class.
"taehyun! pay attention." the teacher scolded him in front of the class. "yes ma'am." he sat straight.
soon, the class's attention was now back onto miss Kim who continued with her lesson. "jerk." terry muttered under his breath.
the school bell rang, indicating class was now over and lunch would be coming up next. the menu is some thing like noodles and vegetables, not the best but it is definitely better than dry rice and frozen apple juice.
taehyun flooded into the crowd of students, throwing his backpack over his shoulder. "gosh, i can barely even move around in here." he scoffed.
after a few pushes and shoves, taehyun made it through the suffocating crowd and even got his lunch. for some reason, taehyun is feeling extra tired.
he took his lunch and sat behind a giant tree in their schoolyard, soon being joined by the one and only choi yeonjun. "terry! my buddy." the raven cheered.
"hey." taehyun side smiled. "what's up?" yeonjun asked earning a sigh from the younger.
"tired. so tired. all day. all week." taehyun whined as he laid his head onto the tallers shoulder.
"well maybe if you didn't stay up so late studying and take my advice for once, that wouldn't happen!" the older sassed, playfully of course.
"jun, i'm not like you. smarts don't come naturally to me, i have to study unless i want to fail." taehyun explained.
"how about i tutor you then! what do you say? how about we skip, grab some desserts y'know." he said with a wink.
"ehhh.." taehyun started "fine."
"that's more like it!" yeonjun beamed as he lifted himself off the dirt. "m'kay." taehyun latched arms with the older.

the cafe looked cozy, minimalistic yet cozy. the workers look nice and well put together, the music is relaxing and played at low volume. it's basically the perfect study environment, it isn't crowded either, in fact, yeonjun and taehyun are the only other people there besides employees.
"did you bring your materials?" yeonjun asked the younger as he brought out his own lap top.
"yeah. pencils, papers, and of course the computer."
"alright! let's order something first then we can start the studying." yeonjun suggested.
"m'kay, sure." taehyun stood out of his chair and walked to the front counter, yeonjun following behind.
"hi, could we order some desserts?" taehyun asked.
"sure! which ones?" she said as she moved out of the way so both boys could get a proper view of the menu.
"uhm, two raspberry macaroons and.. what about you yeonjun hyung?" yeonjun squinted his eyes.
"okay uh! one vanilla sprinkled cupcake i guess." he ordered, probably picking random as he was put on the spot.
"alrighty, I'll have your desserts taken to the table so you can study." she said with a warming smile.
"okay thank you so much." taehyun thanked.
yeonjun and taehyun went back to their table. they decided they should start studying now so they have more time and taehyun would get more sleep.
"okay, im sending you some powerpoints from my sophomore year. what subjects do you need help with the most?" yeonjun asked.
"um, mainly math but i have to write an essay on struggles for people in lbgtq. i know nothing about the lbgtq!" taehyun complained.
"okay okay. I'll help with both! don't worry." yeonjun assured with a charming smile.
a male employee placed two plates of their ordered desserts onto the table silently, then left them to study without distractions.

"i think.. we're done!" yeonjun giggled, stretching his arms into the air.
"thanks, hyung. my essay would've been late if it weren't for you." the younger pouted, holding his arms out for a hug which yeonjun returned.
"of course! now let's go get some rest. sleepover at my house?" yeonjun asked.
"sure!" taehyun said, smiling bigger than he ever has recently.
