   A few days past since the football game and Liam was doing better. His ankle was fully recovered from the sprain he received on game day. However the boy still felt like he failed to contribute during their football game, the others told him to relax and that he was putting too much pressure on himself. He really was by filling his schedule with helping his Grandma, babysitting his nephews, trying to practice at least two hours on the weekends, then he had a part time job. He was biting off more than he can chew but he didn't think he was. Liam thought he wasn't doing enough. Today, Simon decided they'd go out on a double date with Caleb and Kyle. When Liam heard that he was a bit excited to see the two but deep down he was glad it wasn't Cassidy and Eden since those two were a bit mean. Kyle and Caleb would be different, he hoped. Liam waited at a Frozen Yogurt place with Simon as the two waited for Kyle and Caleb to show up. "Hey you doing alright, you've been staring at the same plant for almost twenty minutes," Simon asked as he looked down at his boyfriend. Liam looked up at him and nodded. "You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure Simon. I guess I have a lot on my mind," Liam said trying to reassure him. He was thinking of three things at the same time on how he could improve himself on his football skills, thinking on what medication his Grandma needed, and then the homework he had to do later today. If he wasn't overworking his body, he was overworking his brain. He was definitely going to get a headache later if he kept this up. Simon nudged his shoulder gently, "Liam just relax. Forget what you have to do for a bit and just focus on the now. It isn't healthy to think 24/7."

"I don't think 24/7."

"Liam, baby, you do. Even at night you think hard to the point you start kicking in your sleep."

"I didn't know I kicked in my sleep... I'm sorry about that."

"It's okay, I just want you to relax. Be you know, free like you've done before."

"As free as the time I walked around without my towel in the boys locker room?"

"Not that free."

Liam chuckled, it was a joke. Of course he wouldn't just wander around without a towel, well anymore since the boys would probably flick his dick to scold him, or worse. They'd give it a bad Indian burn. He wasn't prepared for Liam Jr. to go through suffering. Simon looked up and waved, Kyle and Caleb have finally arrived. Liam turned around and waved to the two with a small smile, he was slowly relaxing but he wasn't relaxing to the max.

|| Liam's Point of View ||

   I honestly didn't know what to say as Caleb, Kyle, and Simon talked. Do I just say, hey I'm stuck in this akward rut, what are we talking about? I had spaced out in the beginning of the conversation and now I'm puzzled. I really wish you can actually slap your brain to help it focus. But then that could leave some damage to it so never mind. I've never been stuck like this before with my friends, I've never been the last wheel but I've been having issues by keeping track of what I have to do. Sometimes in the day I even wonder if I got my grandma the right prescription or if I have nay work I really need to do today, I think I got her all she needed and I think I already did my homework. How can multitaskers do this without breaking down and falling asleep mid-day!? I rubbed my eyes, was I tired? I'm normally not tired, I have this random energy 24/7 but now I want to sleep? Maybe Simon was right. I should relax. I've helped however I can, I've done as much as I could, so maybe I should just enjoy frozen yogurt and hang out with my friends.

Caleb was actually pretty kind, he didn't talk over others and he made sure to listen to every detail his boyfriend and Simon were saying. Eden would probably do some dramatic scene or Cassidy would curse loudly at a kid who was making snot bubbles randomly. Maybe the snot bubbles were something to get annoyed about but it doesn't mean you can curse at them as loud as you can. I ate my cookies and cream treat as the three were talking about stuff they've seen on YouTube. I've never seen this horror clay-animation they were talking about, sometimes it would keep me up at night but when I looked to my side, Caleb didn't look at all comfortable with horror. Or fake clay guts and fake blood. "Are you alright Caleb," I asked and he shrugged as he looked at me. Okay, if you can imagine big brown doe eyes and a squishy face, his cheeks were a little red and his eyes looked glossy. I think he was sensitive on this topic.
