The bittersweet would hit this fourth of December. A bittersweet that tasted like copper and felt thicker than water. The past few couple of days, Peter wanted to talk to Caleb. He didn't really know he was dating Kyle but it wouldn't hurt right? It wouldn't hurt a bit, it would hurt like a thousand nails being hammered into someone's chest. The basketball court was filled with snow and maybe a few blank spots. Caleb stumbled a bit as he almost slipped on ice. Peter reach over and grabbed his arm.

"Woah careful there,"Peter said with a smile. Claeb looked up at him before pulling away, remembering what Kyle told him. He started to walk away but Peter stopped him. "Did I do something wrong, is that why you're avoiding me?"

Caleb mumbled a small no. Peter sighed and hugged him.

"What's wrong?"

"No-nothing just stop hugging me please,"Caleb pulled away again. That hug didn't feel right at all to him, he felt bad not just scared. Hugs from friends didn't make him feel uncomfortable. Caleb thought it was because he hugged Kyle so much he wasn't use to strangers touching him. Peter stayed quiet as he tried to figure out what was wrong with Caleb. The younger left, almost slipping on ice while doing so. Peter tried helping him but Clabe continued to pull away. Kyle walked by and saw his boyfriend with Peter. Why did Caleb's way to school have to go through the basketball court where Peter walks? Kyle stormed forward and tugged Caleb to a dry spot. When Peter was about to say hi, Kyle's fist collided with his jaw. "Caleb what did I say,"Kyle growled.

"T-To not talk to him,"Caleb stuttered and loomed down at the ground. Peter had gotten off from the ground and tackled Kyle, they started fighting. Mainly Peter getting punched in the stomach or face.

"Kyle please stop," Caleb yelled and covered his ears with his cold hands and shut his eyes, everything stopped the groaning and punching and cursing everything.

"Baby..." Kyle's  rough but at the same time soft hands cupped the youngers face. "Open your eyes it's done come on." And Caleb did, Kyle wiped his eyes with his thumb. The tears had fell and Caleb didn't notice he was crying.

"Don't let anyone touch you ever again I will kill him and your screaming or crying won't stop me."

All Caleb could was to nod his head and he did it. He averted his eyes away from the dazed Peter who had blood coming down his nose and lips, the warm red against the snow. Kyle had a bruise starting to form on his jaw and had a bit of blood coming down over his eye. The older took Caleb's hand and walked away. Leaving the other boy there, lying in the snow. The younger didn't know what to think either than fear Kyle and make sure to follow his instructions. Through out the day, Caleb stayed quiet about what Kyle did. Another secret he had to hide and if he spoke a word he was afraid Kyle would do something far worse than a beating. He tried not to think about the blood, the pain inflicted on the two but he couldn't when he looked up at Kyle. If only a forgetting pill for the last five minutes actually existed. He honestly thought Kyle overreacted too. Peter was just trying to help and saying hello.

"K-Kyle can I talk about earlier today,"Caleb asked as he got in Kyle's car.

"About what exactly,"Kyle said and started the heat.

"What you did... to Peter."

"No."

"B-But--"

"Caleb I don't want to hear you talk about it or him. Talk about something else okay?"

"O...okay. I'm sorry."

Caleb looked down at the ground as he slouched on the seat. The piercing in his heart stung, he felt like it was all his fault that Peter got beat up, that Kyle got hurt, and why Kyle was also pissed off. When they got to the house and inside, a warm brush of air passed until Kyle pinned Caleb against the couch. The younger was hoping it was to be screamed out or get a slap on the wrist. Instead his jacket was moved to the side and Kyle bit hard on a small spot near his collar bone. Caleb winced as he squirmed, it was like that day when Kyle bit his lip. It hurt.

Kyle intended it to, he wanted to remind Caleb who he was. His. Only his. He let go and the dark red mark on the younger collarbone should stay there for maybe a week or two. It was a light mark, he made sure to dig his teeth in enough but not too hard where he broke the skin. He pushed Caleb more into the couch and tugged his hair.

"Who's are you Caleb?"

"Y-Yours,"The boy whimpered as Kyle tugged harder.

"Louder."

"Yours."

"Act like it. When Peter comes to you again, show him what I made on your little body, he'll stay away for sure."

"K-Kyle I'm sorry. I really didn't mean for this to happen. I--"

"Enough Caleb."

The younger stayed quiet as Kyle got off of him. The mood shifted darkly. The two stayed quiet for an hour before Kyle pecked Caleb's lips softly.

"I'm sorry... I have a temper and seeing you with him just really pisses me off. So I lashed out on him and a bit on you."

"It's fine you were just... scary."

"Well that happens when I'm angry."

"Were you... kidding about killing someone."

"I don't know. But remember, I don't play games Caleb."

A bit messy sorry.
