This is the last game of the round-robin. The Spitfires lost the two previous games, but today they were against the first place team, the Storm. Everyone expected the Storm to win since they are a very tough team. Even though the Spitfires knew they were a good team they still played their best.
Everyone was pumped and playing well. There was no score in the first period but everyone knew that it would be a real nail bitter. There was no score during the first period or the second.
The Storm had an amazing goal scoring opportunity but the Spitfires goalie made an amazing save. The rebound was picked up and then there was a breakaway for the Spitfires. An amazing low shot snuck past the goalie and then the game was 1-0 for the Spitfires. The Storm really wanted to win but the Spitfires goalie played amazing. He played a big part in the win for his team.
