𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧 & 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐱𝐢𝐞

Author's Note: I apologize for the long hiatus I promise you all I am alive and @pleasewatchmyvideos I apologize for the long request I lost motivation in writing and have been so busy with school activities but I'm striving!

AU Plot: Douxie was kidnapped by Arcane Order and Merlin saves him. 

Note: Lets just pretend that this was before Killahead Bridge and they were searching for the seals too. Agreed? Agreed. lols. 

Warning: Short. None may be gore? I  don't f*cking know. 

Merlin was pacing around. Douxie hadn't come back from milking the Sloaar, what could take him that long? 

At first, Merlin didn't mind it as he thought Douxie could be joking around until he realized its been too long. He realized Douxie's guitar was still in the room.

He tried and tried finding Douxie everywhere. 

The courtyard. Not there. 

The roundtable. Not there. 

The dungeons. Not there. 

His room. Not there. 

The kingdom's garden. Not there.

Douxie's room. Not there. 

Merlin even asked Morgana for help. 

"Please Morgana. I beg of you, help me search for Hisirdoux. He didn't return from milking the sloaars." Morgana felt Merlin's pain. She knew Douxie felt like a son to him. And frankly, to Morgana, he felt like an annoying little brother that always wanted attention.

"How long has it been since you noticed Hisirdoux has been missing?" She questioned, standing in the doorway.

"Too long." Morgana began to think. Where could Douxie be at? He couldn't just 'disappear it wasn't like him at all. 

"Very well. I will help you search Douxie." She replied, she summoned her shadow staff, walking with Merlin. 

Hours went by and even with Morgana's help, Douxie wasn't found. The sun was setting and the moon was ready to shine its way through the castle. 

"Merlin, it's best you alarm Arthur about Douxie. He's been gone for far too long." Morgana mentioned. She saw Merlin's face full of worry and despair. 

But Merlin didn't want the king to know his son. Yes, his son went missing and never returned. "I understand your concern Morgana but we cannot disturb King Arthur." Morgana was going to say something else until a scream was heard. 

Merlin and Morgana ran out to see the commotion only to view three floating wizards. Known as the "Arcane Order". Oh, how Merlin disliked them. "We wish to make a proposal Merlin" Skrael slyly says. Merlin tightened his grip on his staff. He was ready to summon a spell but he listened to what the Arcane Order wanted. "Give us the Genesis Seals and we'll exchange the wizard boy unharmed."

Merlin was shocked to hear Douxie's been captured by the Arcane Order. But he tightened his grip. "I don't know what magicks you're thinking but you will not harm the boy! Not while I draw breath!" He yelled. 

"Then the wizard boy shall die!" Merlin felt trapped. He didn't know what to do. Obviously, he wants to help Douxie but give them the Genesis Seals? How?

He sighs, losing the grip on his staff. "If I exchange you the Seals, you bring me the boy unharmed?" 

"We doubt the wizard boy will be unharmed, but he shall return to you," Bellroc replied. 

"Then..." He glanced at the kingdom as the citizens were scared. "I will bring you the Seals by dawn." He replied. 

"Good choice, Merlin," Skrael replied. Soon the three primordial wizards left as the citizens are scared. "Merlin, what did you do?"

Inside the castle, Merlin was thinking of a plan to return Douxie safe and sound. But every plan he thought of was not correct. Just then he had an idea. 

Morgana couldn't believe Merlin agreed to the idea, she thought Merlin was crazy out of his mind. And well, he is crazy,"Merlin, you can't possibly give the Order what they want."

"No. We'll give them something different."

With that, he hoped it'll be the best to save his son. 

Dawn came and oh boy, Merlin had his staff by his side. Then appeared Bellroc, Skrael, and Nari, along with Douxie. 

"Surrending Merlin? I was hoping for a game." Skrael said with a smirk plastered on their face. "Good morning Skrael." Merlin saw Douxie unharmed but his hands and feet were tied together by vines. 

"Where are the Seals?" Bellroc demanded. Merlin sighed, showing them the Seals. 

"First, give me the boy." Merlin demanded, holding the Seals in his hand. Bellroc growled, moving Douxie over as Merlin threw the Seals over. 

Suddenly there was a blast. The "Seals" were a replica that had a small grenade in it. "You dare to trick us?!"

Merlin pushed Douxie behind him, blasting his power at the Order, running behind Douxie. They made it out the Fortress. 

"Master, I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to take long at the-" Merlin cut him off by hugging him. Douxie was shocked but he returned the hug. After all, family does stick together.
