The boy before him is covered in bruises and dirt and he is standing in front of him. They are having a fight. Is it a competition? He wears a blue orange outfit with a blue headband, compatible with his personality?!
The metal plate on it carved a leaf shape, pressing against his forehead. His hair is as bright as the sun, radiating under the light.
His eyes, as blue as the sky and as pure as the clearest water, yet containing an undrainable fire inside. He is so beautifully determined, and fights with everything he has.
He is standing strong even when he is losing against him, drawing Neji to follow his every action. He can feel that something inside of him begins to bloom as his eyes again lock gaze with the pair of azure eyes. He is saying something, what is it?
Startled awake by the sound of the alarm, Neji opens his eyes immediately, trying to calm himself down while his head is full of chaos.
Who is that boy?
What is he trying to say?
Why does he keep having a feeling that it is something important to him?
He's actually a little disappointed right now for couldn't hear what the boy said.
Hair so illuminating and eyes so dazzling. Is it why he keeps staring at the sea?
Feeling the headache begin to make its way out, the young captain quickly clears his head and gathers up the energy to walk out of his bed. He washes his face, feeling the cool water waking him up instantly. Dressing up and getting himself ready, Neji walks out of his bedchamber, the white black veil cap on his head and the marine coat adorns his shoulders.
The vivid sun welcomes him, letting its light shine brightly, a beautiful sun rises. The sea also greets him, sending wind carrying the scent of salt brushing through his hair and flustering his coat. The kanji word 'Justice' flies on his back. Taking a deep breath, Neji lets himself relax and returns the salutes of other officers passing by.
"You are early, kid."
"Good morning to you too, Garp-san." Too familiar with Garp's voice, Neji doesn't need to turn to know who is behind him, even though they have only been travelling together for a week. Glancing at Garp slightly, he takes note of the man's mood. He is so lively today too. And a bit . . . excited?
"Garp-san, is something happening today?"
"Hm?" Surprised at the teenager's question, the Vice Admiral laughs out loud, "Bwahahahahaha! You're sharp, kid!", slapping Neji on the back, nearly making himself fall over the ship and choking the air out of his lungs. Again, this man has no limit on his strength!
"So something will definitely happen."
"He just received information that we will cross paths with Gol D. Roger." A voice suddenly chimes in, successfully startles Neji, too occupied in Garp's loud laughter.
"Good morning, Bogart-san." The young Hyuga turns to his right, facing the second in command of the ship. Again, the man always appears out of nowhere.
"Good morning, Hyuga." Bogart returns the greeting, handing him a couple of papers. "This is your work for today. The one on top is a list and information about famous pirates."
"Thank you." Swiftly makes his way through the paper, Neji gathers the information he needs. "He is as strong as you, Garp-san." Guess that's why he is as excited as a kid right now. Who's not happy to see your playmate?
