Grayson was shaking, his heart pounding as he knocked on the door. His boyfriend Ronan had reassured him that there was only an 85% chance that Ronan's older brother Alex was going to try and kill him.
Okay, scratch that, as soon as Alex opened the door Grayson realised there is a 100% chance he was going to die here. Because Alex was big, and Alex was tall, and extremely buff.
Grayson was buff too, but Alex and his older brother willie (Alex's boyfriend, who he could see was sitting on the counter) were on a whole different level of buff.

Alex looked him up and down twice, before he turned around and motioned for Grayson to follow him.
"Sit" Alex grumbled, not even introducing himself. "Hey Gray!" He heard Willie and Ronan, who had been busy playing Rock Paper Scissors on the kitchen counter, say as he walked past them.
"Hey love, hey bro" he whispered nervously as he sat down, his eyes going between his blushing boyfriend, energetic older brother and his hopefully (slightly annoyed looking) future brother in-law.
Grayson's finally settled on Alex, he could feel himself tearing up with anxiety. "Oh god please don't cry!" He heard Alex yell, as he frantically ran over to get some tissue and then back to Grayson. "Now, where were we?" He asked, sitting back down and going back into intimidating big brother mode.
"What do you like about my brother? Also, please don't call him love in front of me, it gives me hives" "you literally called Willie honey and babe in front of me like 10 minutes ago" "hush Ronan, nobody's talking to you."
"I like him because he's sweet, kind, has a really cute smile, he's crazy good at art, he can brighten up any room he was the first kid in school to acknowledge me and not shun me because of who my dad is, and there's a ton more" he smiled, turning from looking at Alex to his dorky boyfriend that he would do anything for.
