-Third Person POV-
-Location: Inside the Inn-

Cale had asked Hans to bathe Eve since she is still wearing the same thing from last night. Thanks to the inn owner, they manage to change her into different clothes. She's currently sitting on the bed in Cale room while Ron is combing her hair.

(A/N - This is her outfit. I pick the most simple outfit for now. In the future chapter, Cale will be spending more money on Eve necessities)

She was staring at her dress, feeling comfortable. She looks behind her and sees Ron, the old butler. She had asked his name before she took a bath. It feels weird for her. Being treated nicely. She felt something tapping her foot. She looked down and saw the two kittens, On and Hong. Both climb up to her laps and lay there.

'What should I do?' She doesn't know how to pet a cat especially kittens. She slowly put her hand on their head and rubbed it. Ron looked at the child in front of him in amusement. Ron had questioned Cale about the child he brought home with him. But the only answer he got was that the child was experimented on. For the first time, he felt pity for other people. He cannot stand looking at the child dull eyes.

The kitten, On and Hong also felt the same. Both of them averaging seven years old felt pity for Eve. This morning, Cale has told her about both of them being cat tribe people. Of course, Eve doesn't know what that is but she nods her head nonetheless. After that, On and Hong kept asking her multiple questions. Many questions were asked and she can't seem to answer some of the questions. The questions about her past.

She doesn't remember her family, relatives or friends. They also can't determine when did she died or if any of her family are alive or not. Cale was the one that asked most of the questions. He needs to get as much information as possible. Maybe then he can connect the dots. One thing for sure is that Eve has a short-term memory. Not the crucial one just a minor one. She can't seem to remember people name that easily.

He also decided to put Eve in his room since Venion guards are roaming around, trying to find the dragon and the child. He looked at the child in front of him that has her hair tied up in a double ponytail. She looks nothing like the child he save last night. She seems like the normal and proper noble child he's seen. He already reminds Hans to buy Eve more clothes in the capital.
