Afraid of the dark
Having no spark
A spark to ignite
Stuck in the same
Cuz I can be tamed
Refuse to walk
To walk in the night
Ordering takeout
Afraid to breakout
But fearless enough to imprison my heart
My heart,
My soul,
And everything good
People will say I should do what I should
Out of this world
The world is out there
Not just in books
Nor beds
Nor screens
Not even on the couch
My room is my world
But it is too small
To fight, then thrive, then start to stand tall
I need to escape
And will start to make
I'll give and let take
Then walls start to break
My room is my world
But the world is my home
