The festive merry vibes overtook the large more looking farm house than the manor I have imagined. Even though coming here with all sorts of feelings while sharing the same air as him in the silent car, my heart did not hesitate to stutter at the look of this place. It is simply beautiful, very homey and warm. The massive cottage style house looked anything but intimidating, even the vast greens forest from around were enough to cheer the dead.

Literally the place was buried in between the forest, large trees woven around the house creating this almost dreamlike shield. Breathtaking is so little to what my eyes struck with, and still I hadn't got the chance to step a foot in yet. He carefully parked his car in the garage opposite the vast wooden front door next to too many others. Looking at them, I bet there is already a crowd in there, knowing very well that I would have to suck it up and push down the wounded girl for a while longer.

He lets himself out and I do the same, already planning on staying out of his way as much as I could, not wanting to push myself or him tonight. Once he uttered that we were leaving for the manor, I understood that we were to stay at his family's house. I did wonder a little why he did not live with them, but after I had a rundown experience with that. I wish he did, at least I wouldn't have felt so lonely.

The door opened while I was picking up the warm dish from the back, whereas he handled the bags. Seeing my bag, now feeling not sure about any of the attires I have packed. I am afraid that I would have to either purchase a new wardrobe or just learn to ignore his displeasure. Even though I thought no wrong of the attires that I possessed which lured me to just ignore and try to move one. I would have fought to please him before I stumbled on their bickering at my expense. Because with the new knowledge, I became aware that whatever I did to try to please from now one, big chance would be futile.

"It's my boy and his wife." Kassandra announced towards inside before opening the door wider and stepping out with a heaty grin on her face. "Right about time sweethearts, I got to barely hold of the kids away from the roast." She gathered me in her arms into a warm embrace before palming my face in between her hands, allowing her eyes to take a good look at me. I could not move, not that she made it easy for me, but her gesture did feel wired, dare say warming enough to heal.
"Why is my beautiful daughter looking so under the weather?" "No, I am fine, if I ignore my growling tummy that is." A grumbling voice announced before the door was push further to accommodate its owner. I believe. "Already jealous of your sister-in-law now Evra." Kassandra teases. The girl attempts to roll her eyes before Kassandra pinches her cheeks. "I dare you child to roll your eyes at again. I would make sure that you stay the whole night with growling tummy Ginevra." The scold was hearty than anything. The strict mother and the rebellion daughter duo.

The girl huffs before throwing herself at the man standing silently next to me with a soft smile on his face. "They hate me, take me away." He chuckles before wrapping his big arms around her while Kassandra envelopes my shoulder in her arm. "This woman gets crankier as she ages, I swear." This time King full out laughed shaking her with him as she chuckled. Yes, my lips did tug and yes, I did feel warm. And yes, for a second, I was the jealous one now standing here instead. The girl looked anything but willing to let go of his embrace, as if he was her safe anchor and pride. "Churlish child." Kassandra smacks the girl's rare with the towel in her hand before the girl yelp in surprise and whine out. And in rings from around us again, the beautiful velvety laughter.

And at that moment, his eyes sway for mine to hold his as I look at his happy face. The guy's good looks are striking, blindly gorgeous.

"Come on, food is on the table. All march in." Kassandra guides us all in before I grab her attention once the foyer clears and hand her the warm lasagna. "What is it darling?" embraced not knowing what to actually say. "Ehm. Lasagna, I hope you have a place at your table. But it's okay if you don't, I can-" "Oh hush dear, relax. It complements the table just fine, and I am sure it would taste fab. Come one now, those ones would not hold on much longer." With a warm smile, she guides me inside.

Christmas ornaments donned the beautiful house. The foyer leads to an arch way before small steps lead down to the open living room. To the right a stair case that took to the second level and on the left where two hallways, one continued straight ahead and the other took a right but was visible from where I stood. Most of it was open to look down on to the liven room with its arched wide windows. The place was beyond amazing, bright and colorful. The wood element is present and perfectly blended well with the white and pastel colors of the walls and furniture.

"My humbles home seems to have you speechless darling. Did it at least appease?" I could only manage to nod. "Great, for I would like to have you both here more often from now one. I guess I saved myself much persuasion then." He smiles, "I will make sure my boy shows you around later." My pearls appear wide still grasping it all in and the huge Christmas tree by the fire place straight ahead knocked my jaw ajar.

"Come along, I want to introduce you first." Walking down the living room, she guides me to the very end and right through the open archway. Where suddenly too many pairs of eyes land down on me. "King. Would you like to do the honors?" Not quite getting what is going on, I watch as he stands up from one of the chairs on the very big round table with a straight face and alluring eyes. He comes to stand on the other side of me, his clean enthralling musky scent made my mind for a second haze over it. "Everyone, meet my wife. Dior Bussola."

"The lucky bastard." It was the only person whom I could recognize from them all. Gareth grumbled out into the big airy room, before I felt the most of what has my body ever experienced because of a touch. My eyes shot to his as his hand came to softly rest onto the small of my back, before me shifted a little closer to my side. Tingles travelled widely from where his big warm hands sat to the whole of my body. Butterflies dance hard in my tummy and a flush of heat radiated from my face. His presence near me is intense, overwhelming in every sense.

The gesture was simply, very normal and unfaltering to others. But not to me, it made me weak.

"We all sure can see that. Brother aren't you going to introduce us?" A very soft voice cleared my haze out. "It would be easier if everyone just did that, saves time and effort." He quickly leaves my side to go back to where he used to occupy.

They gave me no time to breathe from then on. I learned that he has three younger sisters. Camilla, the second oldest with a new born in her arms and a toddler by her right side. On her left sat her husband, Troy McNair, a very gentleman honey blond hair, caramel eyes and big build. Louisa, third oldest, mid-twenties blond angelic looking girl with a sweet magnetic smile. And Ginevra, the youngest of them all, a replica of her brother's dark hair and grey eyes, and very far from her sisters. She is still a college student, very outspoken and unapologetic. Seems to be attached to king from how she made sure to sit at the only empty space beside him and even scoot it a bit to his side. And it actually did make me smile.

Throughout the brief introductions, Kassandra unwrapped the lasagna and made room for it on the table which drew some ohhs and ahhs and comments of how delicious it looks, as she made sure to thank me that I brought it over.

With the only two other empty chairs on the table next to Gareth. I slid into the one next to him before everyone starts to dig with amusement smile on her faces.
