If success is the light at the end of the tunnel
Then failure is the darkness that encompasses it.
It is the unquiet temptation
that has stripped and deprived so many
determined souls from hope
and left them entwined in the impalpable pit of unfulfilled dreams.
But it is weak.
It clings on to those who welcome it with open arms and bleak expressions
But is left useless when it comes in contact with the
Intangible Soul.
The Soul that not only sees that light at the end of the tunnel
but runs towards it,
allowing the light to expand in its peripheral view
and eliminate the darkness that could never grasp it.
The Soul that has been within each and every one of us.
It is the infrastructure on which hope is built.
It is the final push at the end of the race.
It is what made the young bird jump from its nest.
It is what caused man to venture to the New World.
It is why the light shines in the first place
and is the reason that light will always triumph over the darkness.
For the light at the end of the tunnel
is merely the reflection of the
Optimistic Soul.
