"You are new to New York. Diving into your feed, which is quite similar to a teenager's feed, shows that you have moved here from Mystic falls."

"A lot of your pictures are about you playing the guitar at this place called the Mystic grill. Quite precocious and talented."

"These two people keep recurring in most of your posts: Stefan and Bonnie. You tagged them and they are also secluded-just like you. But no recent pictures of your friends now, you have cut off your ties with them. But hey, they are out of the picture. Your birthday post says you have turned twenty-two, four years younger than me but okay, I'll bite. But you don't look a day under twenty-four. Why are you lying about your age?"

"You were signed by a record label called Rock n Rolls in 2019." Joe leans towards his laptop to read between the lines.

"You also have a dedicated post about this strange man who looks like a waste of hair." "Dylan Silverton, I can't verbally express how bad it feels to lose you. It's a tragedy that we lost one of our most influential people. Gone but never forgotten 😔😭"

"Dylan Silverton, the founder of Rock n Rolls, also the manager of most of the musicians, had an asthma attack and crashed his car. The fatality rendered him dead."

"What a tragedy."

"No post about your relationship status. Are you single or are you hiding your relationship status because of your public image?"

Joe digs through her feed to find any landmarks that could suggest her current location. Joe refreshes her feed and suddenly a new post pops up.

"At the grill with the group #musicians #bar🤪"

A few clicks later, Joe finds her location. "Just ten minutes away from my place. Ah Nora, here I come."

Joe picks up his jacket and strolls towards his bedroom. He picks up the blue hat planted on his drawer and exits his apartment.

...

"The crowd here could devour me in a heartbeat. Rich, spoiled brats and their incessant need to fool around the corridors, Nora, this doesn't seem like your crowd."

"BAHAHAHAHAHA" Joe flips around at the sudden shriek one calls a burst of laughter. He sees Nora banging the bench and laughing hysterically. She spins her chair around and jerks her head back as she struggles with containing her laughter. Her laugh seems to be contagious as now her friends are reciprocating the same. A few shocked, serious glances are thrown in their direction and they are laughing in hushed voices.

"I intend to make you laugh like that, Nora." Joe strangles himself out of the suffocating crowd that could be a breeding ground for a potential virus. He plops on a chair closer to Nora and her friends.

"Honestly, the look of horror on your face when I told you out of the blue, about tomorrow's show. I could pay anything to witness that look again." A woman, around the same age as Nora, starts giggling mid-speech.

"Shut up!" With a tinge of embarrassment in Nora's voice. "Like instead of practising for tomorrow's gig, I'm here talking about how trash this drink is."

"Oh wait, speaking of horror, today I went to a bookstore and bought a cool horror book."

"Wait, you read?" The lady expresses mockery.

"I am trying to, I met this cute guy at the bookstore. Something about him was extremely captivating." Nora dazes off, twirling the straw in her drink.

"You find me captivating, Nora? What is stopping you from professing your love for me?"

"Girl, you find every guy who is decent captivating." The woman laughs, swirling her glass of wine.
