_chapter two, familiar faces_

Michael glanced over to the witch, snapping out of his thoughts. "So gathering the remaining sins is definitely a priority. Do you know anything about the whereabouts of envy? We haven't seen them in a while." Michael chewed on his thumbnail, still a bit worried if the group would be able to take this on.

Yes they were formed for this specifically but they weren't exactly the most United group. Fighting constantly and no one being able to take orders seriously from Michael besides maybe Brandon. Would they even survive against a group powerful enough to bring the goddesses and demons back? Of course they could, what was Michael thinking?

He shook his head slightly before looking at the witch, who had let him get stuck in his mind before speaking.
"Actually, there has been some rumors of a giant in the forest to the east of Camelot, I believe it might be envy, but no confirmed identity on them." Devin hummed, his hands moving as he spoke. Giving off the calm vibe he always did have.

"That's a good start, thank you Devin." At least a not proven lead is better than no lead at all. "Anytime my dear friend. Though mania and I must be going now. She will still be living at our home but will come with you guys on missions and such." Michael only nodded to devins words, understanding why he wouldn't want his daughter rooming with a bunch of guys. Specially guys like David and Ritchie, the womanizers of the group as Michael liked to call them. Speaking of Ritchie, where did that flirt go now?

Michael looked around in the general area seeing as Devin had walked over to David and Mania to collect his daughter before returning home. Michael on the other hand was worried that Ritchie was up to something again, and this really wasn't the time for his shannadagains. Michael quickly walked over to David who seemed to be in a sort of daze.

He jabbed at the big mans side. "OW cap what the hell??" "I need you to go find Lucas, we are leaving. Now" Michael would prefer briefing everyone at home and not at a cramped market, but the challenge was getting home now. "Aye aye cap" David snorted before going to find the sin of greed. Meanwhile Michael started to look around for the sin of lust, seeing as he was always the most difficult to hunt down when they went out. Even when he was stuck on watching Brandon duty.

To which he found the fairy just floating in the middle of the market. Which definitely got Michael's blood boiling, he was going to ring the sin of lust's neck. He grabbed the corner of Brandon's pillow and dragged him over to David and Lucas since David managed to complete his task assigned. Michael looked like he was ready to murder someone as he looked for Ritchie, pissed he abandoned his assignment and dipped.

The sin of lust was always the trickiest to find seeing as he was always trying to get into bed with someone. Which meant he could be literally anywhere and Michael's patiences could not handle looking for long. So for everyone's safety there was a hope Michael would find him quickly. The short demon walked around, scanning the area for the missing sin, ready to strangle him at any moment.

After a couple minutes of angry searching he finally found him. Leaning against the wall of an alleyway, smoking, Michael felt his blood boil more as he clenched his fists. Storming up to the taller man, ready to give him a piece of his mind. Though his angry speed walking faltered as he saw Ritchie talking to someone, he quickly snapped out of being a decent person and went up to them. Grabbing Ritchie's ear and pulling him down to his height. "You fucker, how hard is it to watch Brandon?!!?" Michael glared at him.

"Ow! Cap!" Ritchie whined looking at him, his cigarette had dropped to the floor due to the motion of Michael dragging him down. The other person had left before Michael could get a good look at them, making his blood boil more. " What the hell are you doing?? Going and disobeying my orders??!" Michael was going to snap his spine at how hard he was pulling him down.

"He was fine- I was only away for a minute-" Ritchie was trying to save himself at this point. It wasn't really working in his favor. "I've been looking for you! For five fucking minutes!" Michael was extremely pissed at him at this point, pulling him down in a violent motion, snapping his spine before letting him go. Glaring at Ritchie with his arms crossed as the taller male quickly recovered from it.

" I know you're a sadist but come onn, it wasn't that bad of an offense. Save that attitude for the bedroom." Ritchie stretched, grinning at Michael since he got a flirt in. The sin of lust was completely fine due to his immortality. Michael still glared at him, not finding anything he was saying funny at all. "Back to the group. Now." Ritchie put his hands up defensively before walking out of the alley way. Michael following him to make sure he didn't go off and cause more trouble for the small demon.

Once Michael had gotten everyone he was quick to get them all home so he could brief the group on what was about to happen. It wasn't something to be taken lightly and Michael didn't want to waste any time. The sins were confused of course, unsure of what to make out of their captain's urgency and pushing. It wasn't normal at all, even if he got pissed at them oftenly, well not Brandon, he never did anything wrong.

Once inside, Michael leaned on the door before barking at everyone to get into the living quarters so he could properly explain what in the hell was going on.
"Alright, everyone shut the fuck up this is important. Someone is trying to revive the sealed races." Lukas immediately froze from that, the others went silent and for once Brandon was completely awake.

"You have to be joking. No one is that stupid, right cap?" Ritchie was unsure with his own words, hoping Michael was just pulling one over on them to get back at them for how they acted at the market. Yet to Ritchie's dismay, Michael was telling the complete truth. The harsh gaze he gave Ritchie for saying that told the ginger all he needed to know.

" This means we need envy, and thanks to Devin I have a lead on where they are. However I have no idea how accurate it will be but we will be leaving tomorrow morning. No messing around, everyone will be out of this house at dawn" for once in the time they had spent together, Michael didn't get any complaints.

It was unsettling but what was there to do? The world was at stake.

They had to do their best, and envy was needed.
